Hey Lone Peak...small word of advice. Quit reading your press clippings. The arrogance of your team traveling all over the United States to play ball when you can't even beat the teams in Utah. As one famous Utahn always used to say..."You gotta love it baby"
Lots of teams play out of state not just LP. In looking at other schedules this year you have AF, Payson and others who get to travel and play away, no big deal. WJ has a chance to run the table with that team but I'll bet most if not all other 5A teams will lose to an "in state" team this year. LP beat WJ, AF, Fremont but lost to Viewmont I think last year and still won the state. I think it's great for kids and their teams to travel and play if they get invited and the opportunity is there to do it. Playing against outside and sometimes better competition is a measuring stick for the players and their schools.
