Great reading Vai, thanks
Vai, this column brought back sweet memories of some of the stories you'd tell
when Sister Lawton and I served in New Jersey almost five years ago. Anyway, my
hero was my bishop when I was twenty, Gale Holmes of the Council Bluffs Ward,
Winter Quarters Stake. He was so patient and loving as I struggled with my
decision: Get my parents out of this cult or get in with both feet. Thanks
in large part to his personal attention and amazing intellect, I actually put
aside all the anti-Mormon stuff I'd focused on and read the Book of Mormon.
Well, we all know how that story ends, right?
Oh man, Vai. It is with pleasure that I see a new post from you. I try to read
slow and savor every word.Good work.
I generally cry and laugh a little as I read these and today was no exception-
thanks for sharing
