I can only wish huntsman well...he definitely seems less slimey than Newt.
@rogerdpack2: Isn't that like the snail calling the slug slimey?
Huntsman will come across as naively acerbic...Gingrich on the other hand will be folksy and brilliant. In brief, Gingrich is about to eat Huntsman's lunch!
I'm expectying Governor Huntsman to do well. I hope he does -- he's the only decent candidate in the race. It's long past time that he gets the attention he deserves.
I would like Huntsman to do well in the debate. He is a thinking man and he use's logic. He doesn't preach blind partisan retoric like the others. He needs the American public to find out who and what this man stands for. I believe he would try and make things better for all Americans, not just the 1% who have been paying for favors like the others in office. He hasn't got the same attention because he does not speak in bumber sticker sentence's.Isn't he one of the only Republicans who did not sign Grover Norquests un-American pledge?
Considering his policies, Huntsman should run as a Democrat. He does not express himself well and is unconvincing and uninspiring. No wonder Newt wanted to debate him.
I don't like either one of them so I am not going to watch them if they are on TV.
Well there certainly have not been enough debates, so why not throw in one more.
Backing Gingrich 100%. At least he can tell the truth about most matters. He is also the most Reagan like of all the candidates and depending on who he chose as his VP would be able to defeat Obama. Hmm.. Gingrich/Huntsman.
Reagan raised tax's on Americans eight times while he was in office. Why would anybody want a Reagan Like person for president again?
I don't think any of the GOP canidates have the support to beat Obama.
Not after the death of Osama Bin Laden.
FYI though, I think Huntsman is the best choice.
So, of course, Republians do not support Huntsman.

Are you really saying thats the reason we should be wanting Obama??
@Munk
"Gingrich/Huntsman"
Interesting... I haven't thought of who would be a top VP pick. Since Gingrich was a legislator I would think it'd be a governor though I feel like he wouldn't go with Huntsman (then again this debate might make Huntsman more appealing depending on whether or not they spend time going after each other). Maybe Daniels or Barbour would fit in here after they decided not to run. Perhaps Pawlenty but he seems to not want to do it. Jindal is a possibility. I wonder what Huckabee would think about the idea.

Not the ONLY reason.

Also, Obama took -700,000 jobs per year to...
zero.
Obama INHERITED a 7.7% national unemployment and, while it DID go up to 10%, it is now...
8.6%.
A difference of...
0.9% in national unemployment. Heck, let's round up. Say:
1%.
And yet, Bill Clinton left a 4% national unemployment rate and Obama INHERITED a..
7.7% unemployment rate.
Remember what happened in between?
Obama is doing the job. Better than any of the canidates. He has stoped the hemoraging of the US economy and I see no reason to deny him another 4 years to FIX factually x8 years of the worst Presidency in history.
Oh.
I'm sorry.
You were being rhetorical.
Huntsman, like Ron Paul, is against torture that all the other republicans are for.
When did our Christian nature decide that we don't need God in our foreign affairs with terrorists, and that we should "do what is necessary"?
Its a slippery slope, and too many conservative christians are far to willing to for torture.

Because it is MUCH easier to say you are a Christian instead of actually acting like a Christian?
Huntsman should just keep asking Newt why he cheated on his wife and why he felt like doing that to one wife wasn't enough he did it to the 2nd while she had cancer.
Do some of you that are supporting Newt actually want an man that can't control his temper and his emotions to hold the keys of power in the White House??
Gingrich is an old boy politician with a proven inability to be true to his word or able to deal with his own weaknesses.
He truly scares me.
