The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is a priceless gem in the all-too-often painful experience called mortality.

At times my soul literally craves to hear them sing and feel the wondrous, sweet spirit they always bring. It is literally manna to my soul.

Go to YouTube or i-Tunes and hear their tender version of "Fantasy on, What Child is This?" or their rapturous, thundering singing of Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" from the "Messiah" and ask yourself what feelings begin to stir within your being.

After years of considering what possible affliction I could handle better, blindness or deafness, I think I've come to the conclusion that I'd probably handle blindness better than losing my ability to hear and the music of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and other amazing, similar groups is the sole reason.

Literally, I thank God for His wondrous gift of beautiful music and my mom for teaching me to appreciate it.

To all members of our wonderful Mormon Tabernacle Choir, both past and present, Thank you!"
