The part I think is ridiculous about people crying about BYU players in any sport being old, is they fail to point out that BYU's uniqueness often makes it harder to win, not easier.

Go tell any other coach in the nation they have to tell potential recruits they can't drink, have sex, or even grow a beard if they go to their school. How many of the four and five star recruits are going to pumped about those prospects for college?

Yes, sometimes the mission thing plays in our favor, but when you weigh that against how many kids will never look BYU's way because of the rules, are we really at an unfair ADvantage? Get real.

When you lose to a superior team, any excuse will do valid or not.

They're "old?" Davies is 20. Harrison is a true freshman, Austin would be a sophomore or junior if he hadn't gone on a mission. Winder is a redshirt freshman. Abouo is 22 and didn't have a redshirt year. Zylstra and Hartzog are just a year older than most college seniors and Rogers, Cusic and Collisworth are no older than most college seniors. I seriously doubt that being "old" was the reason that BYU beat Weber State. They were bigger, faster and better and playing at home.
