Why does Trump look like a grump? I think he's upset because he's not running anymore, and will find something to criticize about any possible person. We saw it when he was hitting on Obama, and others, until his whole case of Obama's birth certificate imploded.

I don't hold Donald Trump's opinion in high regard.

And 'yes', that DID happen more than two years before Trump made the foolish claim.

Poor Trump. His over sized ego is suffering because most republican candidates are not accepting his invitation to debate with himself as moderator. Who can blame them. He is hardly the most neutral person to moderate a debate. It is hard to have much respect of the man.

Talk about "joke" candidates.....

We can diss Trump all we want, but he's right, Mitt isn't getting good traction. Yeah, I know. Not so much in Utah. But his party in general seems to keep looking for a more likable contender.

Calling any of the republican contenders "joke candidates" is really rich coming from Trump. And IMO, Gingrich speaking favorably of Trump costs him points as well. I think the repubican candidates are right to stay away from his debate. It's probably goning to be full of "gotcha" questions; he just wants to make himself look better and thinks he can do that by making them look bad. He's just looking to collect press time.

Listen up Mr. Trump, Mitt Romney is holding his own quite well and has been at the top of the race with or without your support. As of today, Mitt Romney tops the GOP Gallup Poll as "Top Contender". Romney is consistently strong in all debates, most presidential, most qualified, and ranks as most favorable GOP candidate.

Why does anyone care what Trump thinks? Is it because of his money?

In the interview, Trump also labeled Rep. Ron Paul and former ambassador Jon Huntsman as "joke candidates,"

Any candidate with any morals would not accept an invitation to Trump's debate when said moderator says something like that against a fellow candidate. Trump is the joke, and if no one showed up, that would be awesome! Then we could watch him throw a childish fit!

donald is a perfect whats wrong with america. he lost a fortune of other peoples money on the new jersey investment and he came out with money and many others now have nothing. he has values but no principles, morality, or class.

I actually think that Trump is in Romney's camp. I think that Gingrich is going to be the GOP's biggest problem, because he cannot beat Obama, yet for some reason, the conservative right is looking past all of his personal and political flaws. I find this fascinating.

I hope that the Utah Republicans remember all the disrespect heaped on Romney and Huntsman from the extreme right wing of the party when election time arrives.

We should not just vote for a candidate because he or she has a R in front of their name on the ballot.

I hope that Trump does run as an independent -- although he likely wouldn't win the election, it will destroy any chance the republicans may have had to win the election.

THANK you!

Because if the Republican party is so 'great'...

Then why do they use the SAME attacks of FICTION on Romney?

As Fox News:

has attacked the 'Christianity' of BOTH Mitt Romney AND Obama!

My Humble Opinion

@ Iron Rod: Are you saying we should vote for religious affiliation instead of party affiliation?

And if you think the republicans have been hard on Romney, the Democrats would likely be much worse.

Trump is a joke, way too full of himself. Gingrich will tell him what he wants to hear and get his endorsement. I doubt Romney will pander to him.

Google a Gingrich article in Esquire Magazine in 2010. It gives a lot of info on Gingrich that will surprise most people. The Obama cmpaign will not hesitate to bring it all out and Obama will win easily.

We have to nominate Mitt Romney if we want to beat Obama in November. There is no dirt for the Obama campaign or the media to dig up on Romney. The fact that some companies that Bain Capital took over were downsized or sold off is more a plus than a minus. Shows Romney will get rid of government agencies that are wasteful or unneeded.

Gingrich is not a person of moral, fiscal or political character. We will be sorry if we nominate him.

Read Romney's book and website if you really want to know him.

I, disagree.

"(Robert) Jeffress described Romney's Mormon faith as a 'cult,' and said evangelicals had only one real option in the 2012 primaries. ... Asked by Politico if he believed Romney is a Christian, Jeffress answered: 'No.' "

Does Fox News or Robert Jeffress represent Obama?

No. They do not.

And yet:

*'President Obama's purported 'weird'-Mormon strategy against Mitt Romney will backfire, pundits say' - By Hal Boyd, Deseret News - 08/10/11

The CLAIM that Obama is talking about Mitt Romney's faith is CONTINUED to be perpetuated.

How about this?

Would you please be willing to FIND a quote from Obama about Mitt Romney's faith?

Not just the claim.

I can't find any.

Anywhere.

Go ahead!

I'll wait....

(And I mean a FACTUAL quote. Not something McCain said)

Cbird,

I hate to break it to you, but MONEY is the only reason anyone is listening to Mitt Romney OR Jon Huntsman, too!

@MC, oh how people quickly forget! Don't you recall the recent meeting Romney had with Trump !!!! Even the DN posted an article about its occurrence. Guess that was something other than "pandering" him??
