I just read on a blog post that ABC's airing of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" last night, Dec. 5, completely deleted the segment of Linus explaining what Christmas is really about.

    Is that right?

    Did anyone else notice this?

It said there were so many commercial breaks that it was possible to fill the half hour time slot, even with the missing segment.

The blog post then went on to lament that the last remaining moment in popular culture--identifying the real meaning of Christmas--had been successfully and summarily expunged.

I'd love to know if anyone reading this saw the broadcast, and if it is true.

    Thanks.
