congrats to all the kids who made it! Im not a LP fan just have watched a lot of high school football. My question is how did Talon Shumway from lp only get an honorably mention? That kid is one of the best skilled postion players in the state and a freak athelete! Hopefully he will be playing in the Pac-12 someday! aka the U.

Burger Barn in Roy UT has fed #31 Luke Hollingsworth the "Lucky Pre-Game Meal" all year.....1 Double Elk w/cheese, 1 Double Cheeseburger and a Chocolate-Banana-Peanutbutter Malt. So glad all those calories paid off. So proud of all the great kids of Utah, the great athletes of the 5A, and our local hero Luke Hollingsworth.....we will miss you when you leave for college next year.

7 straight years of Bingham having a 1st-team all state running back. BHS BABY!!!!!!!

Talon is a freak athlete and a stud. Unfortunately he was injured and missed several games this year which is probably why he only got what he got here. They listed him as a sr. and that is incorrect, he is a JR. I wouldn't hold out hope on him going to the U however as he is a lifelong BYU fan, his dad Jay played there and it has been his dream for his entire life to play there.

I suppose it is possible he would go to the U, after all Chase Hansen's situation was pretty much the same as Talon's, but I don't think so with this one. Plus Talon is also a D1 basketball prospect, which Chase is not, and it may turn out Talon decides to play basketball in college instead.

YA YA, the difference between Bingham having an all state rb for 7 years in a row and Jordan having an all state qb all those years is that Bingham actually has won some titles along the way while Jordan hasn't won any titles in that time, not even a region title.

Congratulations to Troy Hinds. Davis' opponents prepared every play with Hinds in mind, either running away from him or double blocking him. He still dominated the field.

Congratulations to all of these kids, it is a great honor! Congrats to the Northridge Knights! 4 first team players is incredible (fremont and lone peak are the only other teams with 4) 3 of them on offense (more than any other team) That's great! Congrats Casteel, Adams, Clark, and Tate!

It is true that teams prepared for Troy H, but he did not dominate in anyway. He is not even listed when looking at the leaders state wide for tackels. He has 60.. Great player but didn't dominate. Congrats Troy on all-state you earned it last year. Im excited to see him at the Y. Go BYU

Fun year watching high school football and all the these players giving their best. Congrats to all of them. The future looks bright Diggers. Young gun at QB. 3,188 yards, 23 TDs, 21 rush TDs crazy numbers for a Freshman. Awesome job Kafentzis, Cavendar, Babka, Loomis, Larsen, and Savini.

D News and Tribune both slighted TEs. Really? There aren't ANY tight ends in the whole state worthy of 1st team? Crazy!!!!!
