I was so looking forward to a Moniz/Nelson showdown. I was sad to hear that Moniz went down. I really wanted to play Hawai'i at full strength.

I'm not too worried about Hawai'i. BYU will be ready and well rested.

"I'm not too worried about Hawai'i. BYU will be ready and well rested."

Weak sauce schedule.

Another bye week.

Nothing to play for.

Thinking past the game to that wonderful Copter Bowl.

Hawaii wanting their Aloha Bowl.

No rivalry game.

Poly friends and family vs Poly friends and family.

Q. problems on both sides.

Thanksgiving without a game, stuffed and lethargic.

Beating last two teams comparable to high school caliber.

Jet lag.

Polynesian Culture Center.

O.Cs head case from his last beat down visit to the island.

Hawaiis attitude towards the y.

The ys attitude towards Hawaii.

Firesides.

Sun and beach.

Recipe for a disastrous outcome

Hawaii gets the yards that BYU always hopes to. 300 passing, 100 rushing. I guess they play in the wac, but technically, so do we this year.

@Mr. Obvious

This is kind of our Colorado Buffaloes game, except Hawaii can get bowl eligible. (And Hawaii beat CU).

"This is kind of our Colorado Buffaloes game, except Hawaii can get bowl eligible."

Lets see here; Y in Copter Bowl $600K vs U in Sun Bowl $1.2M.

I know which one Id pick.

54 - 10 must still sting.

Hang in there Band of Lil Brothers.

BTW, Lyfe is spelled with an i

17-14 must still sting

And little is spelled with two t's and an e.

@jarka-rus

"And little is spelled with two t's and an e."

In English, Lil has been accepted as a short version of Little.

Life spelled with a Y (Lyfe) hasn't been accepted yet!

But to appease you, here you go.

Hang in there Band of LITTLE Brothers!

BTW what does jarka-rus mean?

Doubt it but whatever, if that's true then it should have an apostrophe to show the contraction. Lil is used for Lil Wayne or Lil bowwow, doubt anywhere else.

Anyway, if you had any books to read down in Beaver I would tell you what jarka-rus means.

Grammar smack? Really? C'mon guys...

Anyway...if the Cougars aren't ready to play, they will have their heads handed to them. This IS Hawaii's bowl game.

Soooooo, you don't know?

I won't throw down any grammar smack, but here's a little math:

$ 600,000 split one way = $600,000

$ 1,200,000 split 12 ways = $100,000

Now, which would you take?

There are some benefits to independence.

Go Cougs! Beat the Warriors!

@ JayDee

I think you forgot a little something:

Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl = $837,500 (UCLA)

Sun Bowl = $2,000,000 (UTAH)

Holiday Bowl = $2,150,000 (CAL)

Alamo Bowl = $3,175,000 (WASH)

Fiesta Bowl = $18,000,000 (STANFORD)

Rose Bowl = $18,000,000 (ORE)

Divided by 12 = $3,680,000 approx

Now which would you take?
I'd go with the PAC, unless UTAH is the only team that has to split their bowl money.

(All these bowl games are projected)

@collegefootballforever

"Now which would you take?"

I would take the one that splits ALL (7) of the Bowl revenues which includes the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl w/ Standford in it and then split it 12 ways!

Yes Baby! Yes! All the way to the BANK!

Go ahead and keep your IndyWAC $600K Copter Bowl revenue to yourselves.

Soooooo, how appealing is Independence now?

Hang in there Band of Lil Brothers

I can only imagine when the Hawaii coach's "guys" tell "their guys" about the importance of the rivalry, the third-hand account of a dead rivalry will really instill some furious intensity and get the blood boiling.
