Congrats to all three teams, coaches and staffs. Although, none will go down as
awesome seasons, any season of bowl eligibilty cannot constitute a bad season,
unless you were picked as a top-5 team.Go Utes!
Congratulations Cougars and Aggies!
Well the ncaa granted ucla a bowl waiver so even if they lose they are still
going to be bowl eligible. I would think in that scenario ucal would be the last
choice among pac12 schools for a bowl game. The more interesting one is if ucal
actually manages to win and is in the bcs. I must admit I'd love to see that and
the ensuing fall out from it.
Congratulations Utes and Aggies.
"The Cougars need at least one quality win this season against a team with
a winning record.Go Aggies!"That quality win would
not be USU. USU will still be lucky to have a winning season with two games
left on the road. USU has I think one bowl win in its history.
Pretty bad program. All 3 teams have a shot at winning, and Utah and
BYU will have the best opponents.
@ Duckhunter | 3:24 p.m. Nov. 30, 2011 Highland, UT Not your
best post. In fact, this one is boring.
What would the scenario be if ucla did somehow pull off the upset? It would make
one more pac12 team (ucla) bowl eligible and they team would be in the rose
bowl. I think Stanford will be in a bcs bowl so oregon, with 3 losses, would be
knocked out of the bcs bowl picture but would definately be the 1st choice for
non bcs bowls of the pac12 teams. This would actually knock every other pac12
team down one bowl so whatever bowl it is utah will be picked for would drop
one. Of course I doubt ucla will win so it doesn't really matter but
it is interesting to consider. Also I really don't see how any of those bowls
are really all that much different, yea I know the payouts bigger but as a fan
who really cares, the only thin that really matters to a fan is the location.
I'll stick with my opinion that utah "fans" will be better served
going someplace other than el paso which is a true stye, a trip to san diego
would seem much nicer to me.
Guess we have to wait until Monday to have the picture painted crystal HD clear
don't we? LOL... Aye Aye Aye! The suspense! GO UCLA!!!! Everyone in Utah should
want UCLA to beat Oregon on Friday night. Especially those that recognize it is
the best way for MAACO to come knocking loudly on the hill. LOL
WWow, the hyaundai(whatever) bowl! The ewes are really living the high life!

Mike Johnson | 4:05 p.m. Nov. 29, 2011 Stafford, VA "I
submit that it is indeed very likely as LA Tech accepted the Poinsettia Bowl bid
on Saturday" What do you expect on a Mike Sorense article? Timely
Yes, congratulations to all three schools. Veritas, I hope you can arrange for
your father to be at all three. The last sentence of the article
reads: "WAC champion Louisiana Tech is likely headed to the Poinsettia
Bowl in San Diego." I submit that it is indeed very likely as LA Tech
accepted the Poinsettia Bowl bid on Saturday.
Add my congratulations to all three schools as well. Especially happy for USU
and coach Andersen. Both USU and Utah will probably be playing bowl opponents
with better records thus a chance to "prove" something as well. Best
wishes to all three schools.
Go Aggies make it a mash potato bowl.
Congrats USU.Huge season this year, and I would bet they keep
improving.Might be a nice Christmas Gift for my
eighty-year-old-father to be able to travel and see USU (where he graduated
college), and both Utah and BYU (where he recieved Masters' Degrees) play. He's a huge fan of all three schools.Congrats to all three
schools, players and staff!
I am pretty sure it was Ball State and not Bowling Green that the Aggies
defeated in 1993. It was a fun game and a great time to be an Aggie. Nothing
greater than this year! Congratulations to Coach Andersen and this great team.
Let's all go to Boise and support this team. Congrats to the Cougars and the
Utes too. It was a great year to be a football fan in the state of Utah.
