Thanksgiving is a secular holiday, and Americans can give thanks anytime.

Black Friday comes but once a year. We should be so grateful that the God of Capitalism stirs in the hearts of red-blooded Americans, causing them to act on their faith and devotion. We should also give thanks that retailers are willing to acknowledge and extend that celebration over two days, including Pre-Black Friday Eve. It reminds me of when I was a kid and we were allowed to open one present Christmas Eve (after church of course).

Dear Mr. Chuck Schroeder,

Thank you for taking the time to contact me regarding illegal immigration and the violence on our southern border. I appreciate hearing from you on this issue.

I support legal immigration and recognize that the country has been enriched by those who seek the freedom to make a life for themselves. However, millions of illegal immigrants are crossing our border without our knowledge and causing a clear threat to our national security. I will work to secure our border immediately. In addition, I support the creation of a border fence and increased border patrol capabilities.

I also believe that subsidizing something creates more of it, and I do not think the American taxpayer should be forced to pay for welfare, medical care, and other expenses for illegal immigrants. I will work to stop those taxpayer funded benefits. Once the subsidies given for illegal immigrants are removed, the problem will likely become far less common. Rest assured as this issue continues to be debated in the Senate, I will keep your thoughts in mind.

Sincerely,

Its good to see that someone in SLC in the media outlets or representing true Christianity has vision of whats really going on in society. The facade of corruption, greed, and politics is rearing its ugly head, albeit only the tip.
Hate your neighbour, especially if he's a foreign national, praise the wallet and forget the cause. In our pretense we shout "we are christians', but fail miserably in our actions. We are our own prophecy and fulfillment of the destruction that awaits us...Jay your vision is not blurred but mired in the framework of your industry.
