The last lockout and the consequentially compressed schedule resulted in more games in less days. Potentially more injuries and tired players playing 3 games in 4 nights more often.
Either stretch out the season or don't bother. Playing too often hurts the product and the results...but then again it serves one purpose...making more money. Mission accomplished I guess...unless you are a fan.
