I like it.
Kudos to everyone involved in those touchdowns by these very dedicated seniors. I am sure that Matt Edwards will be a great coach...
I love traditions.
That moment had to be a great one for the entire Edwards family. Thanks for sharing it!
A great article. I was so thrilled when I saw that pass go to Matt. What a nice thing to happen to two seniors who had seen limited action through their playing time. Good Luck to both of them, as they go from college athlete into their chosen fields of work.
What a great event for a grandfather to watch! It is usually lost, but so important to remember, that those playing the game in college regardless of gender are sons and daughters who have a full time job as an athlete and then go to school as well.
It is after all just a game they are playing, not the game where the world's population hangs in the balance and one the Beijing Times will probably not report the results of, which means billions of Chinese don't care. Having that perspective, we should celebrate watching them play.
Lavell is a good guy, even a Ute like me likes him. Happy Thanksgiving, All!
TrueGordon, glad you like Lavell. But then how could we not....
After watching the debacle at Penn State occur recently, I had always ranked Joe P. up there with Lavell. And I still think he possesses many great qualities.
And not to judge, but it makes me realize how truly remarkable it is to go through a long career as Lavell did as a coach in college football with nothing but beautiful memories and an admirable career to look back on.
An ASU/UTAH/BYU fan.
If your name is Edwards or Whittingham, you are allowed to take up a scholarship spot.
Sneat.
It's stories like this that confirm why I'll be a Cougar fan forever.
