Welcome to the modern world, everything will kill you.
Canned food is the most common thing donated to food pantries and consumed by the poor.
Is this a conspiracy to eliminate the poor in America?
To Y Ask Y....I do believe you've hit on to something.
Some groups are trying everything else, why not? Although in the case of canned foods, so far it isn't on purpose. But it is cheaper to buy it canned than fresh or frozen. Unless, of course, the bags frozen foods come in are also toxic. Then there will be big subsidies paid freezers of foods, too. Let us have equality in ways to kill folks off while feeding them all the food we can, right?
"Volunteers who ate a can of soup five days a week had more than 1,000 times the chemical bisphenol A (BPA) in their urine as those who ate fresh soup, according to a study by the Harvard School of Public Health."
"Urine samples of the 75 volunteers found that those who consumed canned soup for five days saw a 1,221 percent increase in BPA compared to levels in urine after the subjects ate fresh soup."
A 1221 percent increase means 13.21 times as much of the chemical, *not* more than 1000 times as much.
It is amazing that all this stuff is killing us, yet we are living longer than our forefathers ever dreamed of.
