If there are deep cuts, it will be directly attributable to the Republicans themselves who have been playing contrived games on the budget, mostly to protect the special benefits conferred on the rich and powerful. Point a finger at yourselves, GOP.
So long Newt, you could have done it and now you are done. Amnesty isn't going to fly and what you are proposing is nothing less than amnesty lite and a rewards program for illegals that pays off for those who break the law longer than others,, ridiculous! You just lost about 10 people who can vote in an effort to pander to one who can't. Stupid move. I can hear the document mills churning already printing out 12 million phony certificates of "proof" that they have all been here for 25 years. You are supposed to be a "smart" guy, apparently you weren't smart enough to learn from Rick Perry on immigration. In spite of what the DN and other liberal media try to tell you, the vast majority of people in this country aren't going for anything that remotely sounds like amnesty. Go write some new books.
Let's not cut defense; we have too many more wars to fight!

Iran may not have a nuke if you vote for Romney...

Of course they don't want to cut defense spending, that is the GOP cash cow.
Fact: The Defense Department budget has DOUBLED since 2001.
Fact: America spends more on defense than China, Russia, the UK, France and Germany COMBINED.
Everyone in America is having to make do with less... it's time our military shared that burden too.
