Building the pipeline would have created roughly 20,000 new American jobs.
Temporary Jobs, bob, permanent pipeline?
Where does that pipe line go Bob?
To those tankers waiting in the gulf anyway, right.
To be sold on the open market.

So what are all those benefits again?

Robert Bennett, here's the REAL health hazards of unemployment. Just why are these Republican candidates "chosen" by the "Elitist" super rich organization called the Illuminati ?. This should be setting off major alarms in your mind. Let's now swim deeper into these dark deep "territorial waters." These are not some paranoid conspiracy Glenn Beck theories, like some people want you to believe, but facts backed up by evidence and even admitted by some of the people. What is driving them is power, money and control over life and death of others and themselves. The Illuminati are the top players on the International playground, basically belonging to the thirteen of the wealthiest families in the world, and they are the men who really rule the world from behind the scenes (yes, they are mostly men, with a few exceptions). Like the Koch Brother's. They are the REAL Decision Makers, who make up the rules for presidents and governments to follow, and they are often held from public scrutiny, as their action can't stand scrutiny. More often than not the Illuminati sponsor both sides to have a game to entertain the ignorant public. They decide who will be the next president also.

President Obama's decision to delay the construction of the pipe line because of the danger to the environment is now being proven the right decison with the oil companies acknowledging the pipe line constrution can be re-routed to a safer location.

Robert Bennett, For the Deseret News, should know this very well, the health hazards of unemployment, after all, through BYU he invites them to stay in Utah. Where's those GOP jobs for Americans?.

With the Florida unemployment rate hovering around 10.7%, the immigration policies established by Congress bring in 125,000 new foreign workers to the U.S. each month. This amounts to 1,500,000 foreign workers each year, who compete directly with Florida residents for Florida's job opportunities.

The current rate of immigration far surpasses our national traditional average of 250,000 new immigrants a year. Our present-day immigration numbers are highly unsustainable and harms both Florida workers and newly arrived immigrants alike. We all support immigration in moderation. Many of our friends, family, and co-workers are immigrants themselves. But too much of anything can become harmful long term. Especially during the current economic recession when hundreds of thousands of Florida residents are struggling to find adequate employment.

Congress creates immigration policy and only Congress has the power to reverse this trend.

That's one reason Robert Bennett is not in Office no more.

I told you I would tell you the truth.

My views.

Geez, in the highest tradition of capitalism and free market enterprise (and as a Job Creator), my desire to go into the methamphetamine manufacturing and distribution business should fall in line with Republican values of self-reliance, self-indulgence, personal responsibility, worship of wealth and power, and craven, self-absorption. It's certainly a way to make lots of money and be sought after as a potential Republican donor.

Even Newt Gingrich would have a convoluted explaination to justify my busines accumen as long as he had a cut of the pie as a "strategic advisor" working with Congress to find a way through the morass of legal issues such an endeavor might provoke.

One of the difficulties with politics today is trying to find a politician (Left, Right, or somewhere else) who will tell people the unvarnished truth so they can make an appropriate decision. Even Bennett spins and launders and obfuscates to make his points. It's a question of trust. Right now it is a commodity that we're very short on. People don't dislike government. They dislike the people currently in government who are running things. It's not just Democrats! Republicans have nothing to really offer either!

Tell the truth, Obama was worried about the environmentalist vote and put that in front of what was best for the country. The economy/jobs will not get better while people are paying close to $4 a gallon for gas. It has gone to $4 twice and the first time sent us into a depression and the second stopped the economy as it was starting to grow. This country works on oil and the rising costs of the environmentalist movement has finally killed the economy. People cannot afford to drive to work and heat their houses and live.

You forgot about all the jobs cleaning up spills along the pipeline. You don't think they constantly leak? They hire pilots to fly helicopters and small airplanes just to fly up and down pipelines to tell them where the leaks are.

Hint, you can only see pretty large puddles from 400 feet.

Now the GOP is concerned for the environment and jobs. That's rich, very rich.
