Thanks for the quotes.
My favorite Thanksgiving lesson has to be the story of Madame Blueberry, done by VeggieTales. She ruins her house when she buys too much stuff at Stuffmart, thinking it will make her happy, while all along all she needed was gratitude... It's pretty funny...
Lyrics from a song in the show:
For a happy heart is a thankful heart.
I'm glad for what I have,
It's an easy place to start.
For the love that we share,
For He listens to my prayers.
Happy Thanksgiving all!
That's why we say thanks everyday.
Thanks for the quotes.
Here is another one.
Gratitude is a quality similar to electricity: it must be produced and discharged and used up in order to exist at all. ~William Faulkner
I'm grateful for the article...my Thanksgiving tribute this year is for the restored keys of the Pristhood and for the many Temples in which we may come closer to God.
Thanks for your lovely thoughts this morning...help for a heart that is full of gratitude, but not quite as eloquent as I'd like it to be. I printed this to share with my family later on.
My favorite one: "There is no greater difference between men..."
It's so true...the happiest people are the ones who recognize and acknowledge their blessings (a smoothly paved road, a freshly cleaned bathroom, a baby laughing), all year round.
