Government handouts have transformed our country into a "nation of beggars".

Bountiful, UT

It would be best if government handouts weren't needed. If the working poor could get paid a fair days wage for the work they do. However many are not. Therefore fortunately the government will give them food stamps to suppliment their income and see to it that they and their children done suffer from lack of food or lack of sufficient food.

If income were distributed more equitably, this wouldn't be a necessity. Unfortunately the trend is not positive. The upper income people are taking a larger and larger share of the pie, even after taxes. In the late 1970's a typical corporate executive got 25 times what their workers made. Now it is 700 times as much.

Although too many occupy protesters act like spoiled brats, their cause is right, I wish they were better behaved, so their actions didn't detract from the justness of thier cause.

Are "A" students greedy for keeping their grades, or should they become "B" students to help the "D's". Are people guilty for finding success? Let's not covet.

I would love to know how many of those Professor's are tenured? How many of them are firm in the knowledge that they won't have any risks to their jobs as long as students keep coming to listen to them talk.

This movement is doing no one any good. It is about time the OWS movement actually does what i require of my candidates. Give me an actual solution.

We all grew up with free schooling. We're all free to move on and accomplish whatever we want. We're not chained to low paying jobs. Low paying jobs should be used as a step up to something better. Many successful people started at McDonalds.

We are a product of our decisions and actions. Successful people(rich or not), doesn't cause our fate.

Shame on Obama for promoting envy and dividing our country. We need successful people to make things work.
