Well, there goes our undefeated season.:)
Well said, Brave sir.
A lot closer than the last time Boise annihalated Utah in football but we will
very ugly as anticipated but at least the boys kept fighting and played rather
well in the second half. All they can do is get out there and play hard and keep
trying to run the offense. A lot of gelling has to happen before they'll see
positive results. It'll be an ugly year but if they can somehow stay bought
in on providing max effort and commitment to the team, they'll at least have
done a good job putting together the initial building blocks for next years team
that should be quite a bit better.Just a year we ute fans need to plug
through with the players and hope for the growth they'll need for next year. It
is what it is.
The utes should tear up the PAC 10.2.
Utah: Breaking Pac10(12) records that have been stable since 1977.BSU takes largest defeat of Pac opponent (last: Oreg St by 10). Gia-boYlen-Krisko
Boys keep fighting? Really? Jordan Loveridge made a choice: play for 4 years as
a starter, vs: ride bench for 1-3 years at ANY other place.
@ yourstruly"A lot closer than the last time Boise annihalated
Utah in football but we will take it."A little smack talk huh?
let's see byu play Boise State with Kellen Moore and company. You would get
slaughtered worse than our 20 points. Hang in there Band of Little
Brothers, Boise will pound you to the ground for the next 12 years starting next
year. Nobody can beat Boise except TCU!
Oh, this is going to be such an ugly basketball season. Ugh.
I was at the BYU vs BYU-Hawaii game last night...I was telling my
date that BYU-H is playing terrible and how bad they looked, she said that BYU-H
could probably beat Utah though.I think I should marry this girl.
Yeesh. Gotta guard the three.====yourstruly | 9:27 p.m.
Nov. 16, 2011 PAUL, ID "A lot closer than the last time Boise
annihalated Utah in football but we will take it"And unlike
last year when the Utes Mens BBall team beat Boise St.
It might be awhile before you get a win. Good luck with the rebuilding effort
and I hope the fans are patient. B.Y.U. comes to the Huntsman Center in Dec.
and I am sure that chrisb will give his famous win prediction. They won't have
Jimmer or Emery but they still have Davies, Hartsock, Abuou, Rogers, and plenty
of talent to win again at the Huntsman Center again.
Ouch! Looks like it might be a REALLY rough year for Utah
It is going to be a very long season for the Utes.
Chris B; hedgedog; Pretty tough competing in the lowly WAC - isn't it. Nice job
utes!! Things will probably get better in the confines of the PAC.whatever. The 54-10 headlines news is officially over. Have fun boys. HaHaHaHaHa.
My weekend is now a total success.

Pretty tough competing in the lowly WAC - isn't it. Nice job utes!! Things will
probably get better in the confines of the PAC.whatever. Have you
alredy forgotten the Y lost to a WAC team in logan on Friday night? We all know
the utes are not a good basketball team and probably won't be for another couple
years. All we hear from you, ducky, and others however is how good the Y's
basketball team is. What happened, can't the Y compete with the WAC in
@2irreleventwinsActually BYU did "compete" with USU. utah
is the one that didn't "compete" with their wac opponent. Plus BYU is
good, they will win 20+ games this year and make it to the ncaa tourney. utah
might not win 5 games this year and won't make it to anything resembling a
Dear Fans of schadenfreude,We, as Utah fans, knew that Utah was
going to be awful this year. Trying to rub it in our faces isn't going to work.
We understand Utah wiped the plate clean when they ditched Boylen. I'm glad that it makes you (@Tom in CA) happy, but Utah is still in the PAC12,
they still have an exciting football season to finish and still have the best
recruit in the state of Utah for basketball. Life is good as a Utah fan.Good luck to the cougs, the aggies and wildcats the first round of the
NCAA tourney is the limit. Utah won't even make it to .500.
Utah 59 - Boise State 80 ...both teams were picked to finish last in
their respective conferences. Does this mean the MWC is 20 points better than
the PAC 12?-----------------------------@2...WINSUtah is so scared to play Utah State, that the Utes won't even schedule
the Aggies anymore. Until the runnin' Utes MUSSter the courage to play the
Aggies in the Spectrum every other year, the Utes should just pin lace on their
shorts and keep their mouths shut about who's competitive, and who's not.
"Have you alredy forgotten the Y lost to a WAC team in logan on Friday
night"2BCSWINS:The difference, sir, is the mighty
"bcs" conference of champions (chest thumping ute) doesn't lose to
those little boys - or do they?
@Y4LYFEAre you kidding me? Keep telling yourself that. How many
feshman played for byu when they played USU? Didn't see any other game, but I'm
sure you had freshman playing in those games as well.I love how you
believe that's the reason Loveridge chose Utah. You really think Dave Rose would
sit Loveridge? He would easily start in front of Abuou and Rogers.
BYU lost a close game to the team picked to win the WAC--Utah lost in a blowout
to the team picked to finish last in the WAC.
BigUtahFanJust to clarify, as long as Utah fans knew that the mighty
Utes were going to be awful, Utah fans can talk smack and play the "we're
too good to play the Aggies anymore because we're in the PAC 12" card, but
still whine about other fans kicking the Utes while they're down?In
other words, the Utes can dish it, but they're too whimpy to take it.
I see some talent on this team, and some guys who would have a tough time making
the YMCA team. Odunsi, Storey and Matthews will all be pretty darn good in
time. We really need more size (two 6'10"+ guys coming next year) to grab
some boards. Loveridge will be a great addition. Go Utes!
@Ducky, swoop and Tom in CAHow many final four games have the Y
played in? Exactly start talking basketball trash talk when the Y actually does
something in basketball. You guy's are right the aggies are an
outstanding basketball team top 10, right? Of course that's the only reason the
Y lost in logan. Their football team is great to right? Thats why ducky, Tom in
CA, and swoop all stormed the field after knocking off the mighty
aggies...lol54-10, 7 of 10, 2BCSWINS...lol at ducky, swoop and Tom
2BCSWINSI guess since were going to go back to our prehistoric
history books in order to talk smack...2 BCS WINS < 1984 National
ChampionshipFinal Four < 1951 National ChampionsBut yeah
the Utes definitely have a better history...
BYU grad and fan here. One thing I truly dislike is having seen the
downfall of UofU basketball. I hope the new coach can pull it all together and
see them up near the top again. It's good for Utah as a state and the other
universities in the state too when all are doing well...And that
Boylen, well... count your blessings he's moved on, "U" certainly
@2irreleventwinsAs utah "fans" are so fond of asking BYU
fans "who cares about ancient history?".
BigUtahFan,That was great...I hope to catch you when you appear at
the comedy club "Wise Guy"...your hilarious.
I recall the Y's 1-25 (or thereabouts) season and didn't appreciate the
all-too-easy potshots taken at the time by gleeful haters, so I'll refrain from
piling on. At least the Utes have nowhere to go but up. I feel we Y fans are
doomed to merely a pretty good season, and certainly it won't be as exciting as
last year. I know I've been by The Jimmer Experience, but a team led by Noah
Hartsock and Charles Abouo just doesn't fuel the imagination.
The Utes have 3 players back from last season's team, not counting Foster who is
out long-term with a broken foot. This is Krystko's first recruiting class,
recruited with very limited time, with most players already committed to other
schools. We know our Utes are going to have a tough season. What I
like is the players we have. They are Utes for all the right reasons, unlike
the players the past few years. They looked lost in the first half in Boise,
but they did scrap back and "held their own" in the second half.I look forward to seeing the grit and the development of this year's
players. If they fight every possession, they'll surprise a few teams. This
team has a huge upside. If they look as bad and uninvolved as they
did in the first half in Boise, they'll lose us as well as the game. Work hard
40 minutes a game, and we'll love them, win or lose. Go Utes!
If Coach Kryswhatever (the Utah coach) "doesn't pay much attention" to
conference standings, then how does he know the MWC is 20 points better than the
This is going to be a long, long season. I'll be happy with 4 wins. We
have a long way to rebuild this program.Go UTES!
Wow I guess I am not up on Basketball. Surprised me to see this score. Come on
Utah we need you to turn the ship. Want you to make us proud not make us
embarrassed. Could be a long year. I see some good things coming.
Hope we can weather the storm.
Tough loss. The mighty Utes will regroup and be back. I still think this team
has what it takes to make a sweet 16 run. A close loss to power house Boise St
is not too shabby. I mean the Broncos are ranked #5 or at least they were when I
checked. When is the last time yBu won a tournament game? The way the Cougar
fans talk, you would think they had won at least 25 games a year for the last 5
years or something. What is with those fans? You act like you won 30 games the
last 2 years. The Utes are the best team in the state. The aggies are scared to
play us in the HC. You would be surprised how loud 450 friends and family can
@UteologyHang in there. I remember when the Aggies went 4-23 one
year,(long before Stewwwww)and the very next year they turned it around and went
20-9 and got an NCAA invite....so it can and does happen.
A sweet 16 run "go utes"....are you kidding me? Did i really just read
that comment. When did you last check BASKETBALL rankings 20 years, ago? Ha boise
st is a Definitely ranked 5 in FOOTBALL. And oh yeah they picked to finish last
in the mwc. But yep they are a powerhouse
