state of Utah college basketball rankings -
1- Weber
2- Utah State
3- UVU
4- SUU
5- BYU
6- Dixie
7- Utah

Congrats on those nice wins over Dixie and BYU HI, Cougars are really coming together and could move up to perhaps third in the state before it's all said and done.

I heard that Snow College beat Weber in a 3 on 3 scrimmage during the summer. Pretty sure they had better be ranked number one plyxply

@ Lehiaggie & TJ (Eagle Mountain) I am not a troll. I am not a Ute fan. I am a sane BYU fan and I apparently have been around a lot longer than either one of you people. Utah State plays a bunch of nobodies in a silly conference that has no credentials whatsoever. Piling up wins against the teams they have played means nothing. If the wins did means something, then why do they always have a 12 to 16 seeding in postseason play? Show me anything Utah State has done nationally or regionally versus other athletic programs in the west that go on to win something themselves in the major sports, my friends. And even if BYU by some stroke of luck manages to hold their own in basketball versus the Gonzaga's, etc. in their new roundball conference, it will mean little or nothing if they can't go on to postseason play and also put up some wins. Come on, wake up.

BYU Basketball will be humbled in sooooo many ways this year. Wait....are they going to be part of the Big East too?? Big East Basketball will serve up a lot of bad days for the Cougars!!!

UoU 1991:

First off my comments were correct! Secondly they were outplayed. The Cougars were playing a team a division down! The Cougars were outplayed the second half. Just made a few comments. I didn't condemn the team just made some observations.

I can appreciate you thinking that you're a "sane BYU fan" but in reality you don't have a clue how to schedule a basketball team.

No one starts off playing a bunch of tough games, that would be stupid. They all schedule some lesser opponents so that they can get a feel for the players and team without taking a bunch of losses. They then schedule some tougher teams after they have had a chance to play a few and hopefully get the kins worked out.

Frankly playing usu on the road to open the season is a very tough game and BYU deserves credit for doing it. Name we one top team that has played a tough opponent on the opponents home court already this year? You probably can't. Not too mention most top programs simply won't play other top programs so scheduling one at all is next to impossible let alone early in the year.

Dixie St was an EXIBITION game. Do you know what EXIBITION means?

There is a big difference between being a "sane" fan and just having no clue whatsoever how to set up a schedule.
