Interesting article...were are the UTE fans?

I often wonder how old/intelligent the people who comment on these articles are. There are spelling/grammatical errors in nearly every post, especially in those comments posted by both the BYU and Utah fanatics. If you're going to post a ridiculous comment, at least use correct spelling and grammar so you don't come off as an even bigger fool than your opinion makes you out to be.

Interesting article...were are the UTE fans?

They're on BYU articles ridiculing the cougs. Ever heard of Chris B?

If the DNews allowed editing I'm sure you would see a decline in this phenomena. Lot's of people post using tablets and smart phones which increases the challenge. I wouldn't indict someones intellengence based on spelling and grammar on a forum, now the content of their thoughts is another story.

I think it took Utah a game or two to adjust to Hays and adapt the offense to his limited talents. This demonstrates how good Utah coaching is. Most detractors predicted Utah going 8-4 maybe 7-5 with a healthy Jordan Wynn, now Utah is staged to have the same kind of record with a Div II QB with zero Div I experience at the helm. A healthy Wynn would have meant at least 1 more win maybe 2.

I totally agree with you Ibleedcrimson. The coaching has been phenomonal. It really makes you wonder about UCLA and BYU firing a guy like Norm Chow.

Although the Pac 12 championship game seemed like an impossibilty a month ago, the way ASU is tanking and how great our guys are playing right now(even our QB) a matchup with Oregon is a strong possibility.

It would be interesting to see the best Pac 12 offense(Oregon) against the best Pac 12 defense(UTES).

Impossible to win?

Yep - just like the Sugar Bowl was!

Chris B- Are you really just a cougar fan trying to stir the pot? That makes a lot more sense to me, given the stuff you write.

Enjoying our relevance!!

Go Utes!!

Mark it down? Can't beat Cal, Washington, Boise State, TCU, Notre Dame, Arizona State, and all of a sudden the utes have the best defense in the pac? Is that what you think Chriss? You're a funny gal.

Magna-

I admittedly like to stir the pot. However, I still say things how I see things.

Utah is playing like a top 20 team the past couple of weeks: Fact
Arizona State is tanking, hard: Fact
We still have a great chance to play in the Pac 12 game based on the facts.

I'm also 100% positive byu can and never will be relevant anymore. Decades ago they had above average coaches who were brilliant in using the passing game to overcome their lack of true athletes.

Coaching has more than caught up to byu.

BYU cannot recruit more than a couple of inner-city kids a year: Fact.

With that, please show me any championship or near championship football team in the past 20 years that has a similar percentage of slow white kids.

Hint: You won't find any.

So long as byu has the honor code, inner city kids will stay away. And with that , they can kiss any chance at relevance - goodbye!

@Magna

there was a time, probably a year or so ago, that Chris B came on here and posted something that was very much pro-BYU. He then hurried and explained himself by saying that his wife had "hacked" his account and that she was a "TDS fan". During the 2009-2010 season, Chris first showed up around here. He would be the first to comment on each ute basketball article claiming that utah was a "legit top 25 team". I am fairly certain that Chris B is a parody account. I am also sure that he has an alter-ego, but I haven't been able to tell who it is.

Kosta Fesenko,

A year ago, some cougar fans stated they play like a top twenty team. A person like Chris B states it's because of an easier schedule. That's the same for the utes this year. Thay're playing the lower tier pac teams. I don't think UCLA, Colorado, Arizona, or Washington State is much different than San Jose State or Idaho. And now the utes are top twenty and has the best defense in the pac? Utah is not Southern Cal, Oregon, Arizona State, Washington, Stanford, but a mid to lower tier pac team. Period!-- Wait for basketball and Chris goes into hiebernation.

@worf,

what in the world are you talking about?

I'm glad I'm not the only that thinks Chris B isn't a Utah fan. I won't go as far as saying he is a BYU fan though posing as a Utah fan. Man, these message boards are interesting.

Utah has no chance against Oregon if it somehow wins its division. I watched last saturday as Oregon demolished undefeated Stanford and Andrew Luck @ Stanford. It would be a blowout. Utah has good coaching and capable athletes but not close to elite status.

WOW-to try and compare San Jose State and Idaho with UCLA, Arizona, WSU, and even Colorado is like comparing BYU with Utah. The program, the conference, the coaches, the athletes in the PAC-12 are so superior to the WAC. The players make the biggest difference make sure at the end of the year watch the draft and see how many more players come out of the PAC-12 vs WAC. I agree with KF "what the world are you talking about".
