Reagan's presidency was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any US president. With his ratings bottoming out after the Tran-Contra Affair Reagan came out and said he didn't have anything to do with it, but was sorry it happened. Because he apologized  his ratings slowly went back up, and he was even reelected. With nothing but denials and too many questions unanswered, Herman Cain has given his opponents the opportunity to bring the scandal back up at any time. He will be hard pressed to keep his ratings up. The moron is using verbal abuse disguised as jokes to attack women. He is a grown man acting lie a juvenile delinquent.  I doubt even his supporters can stomach much more of it.  The stench is sickening and is smelling up the whole nomination process.

I guess it comes down to a matter of "He said. They said."

Either Herman Cain or Sharon Bialek is lying, but we likely will never know which one because there were no witnesses. The fact the Gloria Allred is involved make me a little suspicious of Bialek's side of the story, but I cannot prove it, nor can anyone else.

Please note the Iran-Contra story broke way after Reagan's re-election in 1984 (November 1986).

Gloria Allred - isn't she the one that exposed an illegal immigrant housekeeper to potential deportation purely for political gain in a CA state-wide race? Yeah, SHE has a lot of scruples.
