Wow.
I know, right? That was a 1 vs 2 and a blowout. Bountiful gave a valiant effort but it just didn't seem to make a dent as Logan's advantage just snowballed. If you're on the opposing sideline it's just a helpless, helpless feeling.
KG
That's all I can come up with too.
WOW!
Mustang 08, where are you?
DJ and the rest of the offense were a factory of production today, and if all our factories in America were that productive, we would not be in a bad economy right now! Wow describes it well! I also like how Tom Kirkland described it when he said, "DJ Nelson went off"! I hope that performance can quiet those who say DJ is not ready to be a quarterback at the next level. He is ready to be a quarterback at the next level. That should send a message that usu didn't commit him to come on to be a safety. Who do we get next week? Who do we want? I know the default answer is always whoever wins, but it would sure be nice to get another shot at Timp View.
it was not a 1 vs 2,
Logan is ranked #1, if anyone was ranked #2 it was olympus or Timpview or East, and who ever wins between Timpview and East now will get to learn just how stinkin good RJ Nelson is.
He will not lose, and will beat either East again by 30, or Timpview by 40!
Good luck everyone! RJ IS GOOD!
Jacob's Dad, you spoke too soon in hoping for Timp View. It looks like East is in control going down the stretch.
Spoke too soon and jinxed them. Bring on East. Let's all spend the day in Salt Lake next Friday and hope for a glorious football day and weather day. Could it have been any better than today? Next week will be better.
It was a Region 5 #1 vs. a Region 6 #2. Also, that would be DJ, not RJ, but you are right about his ability.
Why is that with 5 minutes left in the game and a 30 point lead Logan leaves DJ in the game and throwing? Padding the Stats or running up the score this sucks
Can't deny that Nelson is an outstanding quarterback, but without him, Logan would be in trouble. As much as I don't want to admit it, they should have an easy time against East. DJ stings teams on the run and then stings them on the pass. How do you stop him? Your only chance is if he isn't playing.
Bring it on Logan.
Too many people are fast to write off East. Remember Logan played East JV team while Varsity was resting..
@SincerelyDavis
East fans keep trying this lame excuse. The Starting QB for East was out the first two or three series, the coach then inserted the starter realizing he was in a free fall.
It simply does not matter, what will the story line be next week ?
Um we wanted to wait for next year when we are all rested and we have a new team yeah that's the ticket.
Oh Kipp, The Grizz will bring it and everyone will be complaining about them running up the score again. The SEC of Utah sure gives up a lot of points!

Sad thing for East is.... they probably will bring it.
I really get tired of the running up the score argument every week. If Logan had stopped playing, it would have been offensive to Bountiful. They were still playing and competing and scoring, and it would have been quite arrogant and foolish to have stopped playing earlier. A coach also needs to keep his team on the field to make sure the conditioning is there for the next team and game. I think there is no question about that at this point. Great conditioning! Then when coach does put in the subs and the other coach doesn't, and our sophomores start getting beat up a little, the coach says, okay, if we are still playing our starters.....I guess we will still play our starters. You cannot stop the production of this offense. I bet the Bountiful coaches and players do not feel like Logan ran up the score today. I bet they just felt honored to play with and stay with them for much of the game.
Since you guys want it so bad. Thank you kipp. If it wasn't for D.J. Logan would be in big trouble. Now it's Easts turn to get some revenge. Sorry Bountiful didn't get it. If East wins I hope you fans give them credit. If logan wins I'll give Logan credit. PBR and BYUtough I hope I made your day. And it's just Stang08 BYU tough. It looks like your just as confused as the people on the Herald Journal.
I think they need to extend season one week and have Logan play Lone Peak if they both win out. Would be a very interesting matchup! I watched Lone Peak struggle last week and think Logan has the better quarterback after watching Lone Peak play.

Whoa now, let's not get to out of control here. Bountiful is not NR. Hansen would have dismantled Bountiful as well. DJ is a great QB but let's keep things real.
