Imagine a more talented kid being any more likable. I'm truely going to miss watching Jimmer and cheering for him. He was special.
Good to see Travis back in town.
We're all hoping to see Jimmer in action soon!
Jimmer is such a fun, classy guy. So glad he represents BYU and is the National Player of the Year. Looking to him being a star in the NBA one day.
Travis was exciting to watch at BYU when I was there... I love to see him back in the states and doing well with his foundation and moving forward with his life after sports... interesting question to Jimmer about where he sees himself in 10 years. Pretty much where Travis is now.
Great kid...hope he gets a chance to play soon.
I was at the BYU - TCU game. When BYU was losing badly somebody held up a sign that said "Put Jimmer in". It got a loud cheer.
June 1st wedding? I guess if there is a season, he doesn't plan on his team making a deep run in the playoffs then, does he? :)
Teddy Bear:
You took the words right out of mouth. That is exactly what I was going to say.
Ha! Good catch Teddy!
I hope I'm wrong, but my guess is the Kings won't go far in the playoffs this year. (If they actually get to play!)
All he wants to do is play basket ball. That's all that the rookies want, but the more entrenched players are battling for more and more money. Come on guys: Let's just focus on the game.
It's funny that the Eminem look-a-like would ask about Eminem.
Great article Travis!
Go both of you!
So will Jimmer still be classified as a rookie next season if there is no basketball this season and new guys are drafted next year??
Great high-interest article, Travis! A lot of us wonder about Jimmer and what's going on with him. It was definitely different not seeing him play the other night on the Cougars' opening night. Last year was magical in every way. We drove to Provo for every home game and loved it! We also miss Jackson Emery. He is such a great ball player and good guy. Sorry he didn't get a chance at the pros.
Some day we'll see you each on BYUtv's Legacy, Travis and Jimmer! Thanks to you both for keeping strong in the faith. A lot of young people are watching you.
Go Cougars!
101 Dalmatians. Nice.
Need pics of that.
Why is EVERYTHING related to basketball so boring?
If only the Jazz Had gotten him...
Fun article.

Yes. Your rookie season is the first season you play,no matter when it occurs. So if no play...no rookie year.
