This weeked is in for some GREAT FOOTBALL..!! JD has their hands full with SF on friday which has proven this season to be a legit and a hardnose football program. Its going to be a great game, and the team with the least mistakes will win.We had such a good time last week with the Dixie fans, that we would like to offer an open invitation to our SF parents and Fans,to our tailgate party at JD on friday from 130pm-330pm..Come join us for some good food and conversation with great people,we will be on the southside next to the school busses,Hope to see you there.
may you have a safe drive up to the "EAGLES NEST"
LETS GO JD EAGLE....STAY THE COURSE..!!!!
Expect to see a Fremont/Bingham defensive battle that will shut down both offenses. Winning this game will boil down to the team with the strongest will to win and the home field advantage! That would be Fremont!
Go Fremont....
Defensive battle?? Just because no one in region 1 can score points doesn't mean your going to hold binghams offense down. They will score 30 plus. And you must know both these teams really well if you know that freemont has the bigger will to win.
Excuse me Markymark but Northridge scored 331 pts this season, thats an average of 33 pts per game. Fremont scored 289 pnts which is almost 29 pts per game. I would be very careful before spouting off stats that you know nothing about and by the way its spelled Fremont not Freemont.
You are not helping your case by posting those numbers. 289 is pretty low honestly.
Herriman: 420 points
Highland: 341 points (that is with East shutting them out...)
Lone Peak: 448 points
Logan: 505 points (wow)
East: 356 points
Bingham: 389 points
Anyway, the point is that far as scoring points goes Fremont is not impressing anyone. They are going to have to heavily rely on their defense to win, because against LP or Bingham their offense won't keep up.
Freeemont does OK up north but nothing has changed from last year. I don't really want to say Bingham is looking past Freemont, but this will be a fun warm up for Bingham on it's way to a rematch with Lone Peak.
Bottom line Bingham will make light work of Freemont again this year and the bad weather will just make it worse for Freemont. Bingham will dominate in all aspects and yes... we will all see I am right in a couple of days
Bingham:38 Freeemont:6
@CalvinR
Your Biiinnngghhaamm boys will get destroyed by FREMONT and you will be wrong again like you always are. Go FREMONT! Show the haters what real football looks like.
Bingham has not lost a game in the playoff in 3 years and will not lose to fremount. The same as last year.. when... I was right and Bingham beat Freeemont.
Sorry Fremont fans, last years title game re-match will have the same results as last year.
The weather will favor Bingham so the home field is not a factor.
The willpower and desire will favor Bingham too. The Bingham boys don't want to be on the roster that dropped the 3-peat torch in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The desire to get back and play Lone Peak is also too much to measure.
I know how to spell it, my phone is hard to type on. Your going to have a lot more things to worry about then my finger hitting the E twice. And yes 289 points in the season is low. A region 1 team hasn't beat Bingham since 04' not going to change this year. Sorry your season has to end on your home field.
Im not a Region 1 fan. Every year, Region 1 fans make the claim that region 1 is top to bottom the best region. There is never that dominant team from Region 1 (at least since Northridge 2000-2002, yes Davis took State in 2004 but not really a dynasty like Skyline, then Northridge, then Bingham/Alta). Seems like the first place team is just barely better than the 4th or 5th place team and there is not usually a terrible team either.
That being said, each year I expect Region 1 to get blown away in the tournament and every year they play well. This year they are 3-1 in the opening round, plus they have put a team in the championship game 3 of the 4 previous years (Layton 2007, Davis 2009, Fremont 2010). Other than these 3, only Bingham and Alta have played in that game since 2006.
I am really blown away by the predictions and trash talk being thrown out there by Fremont fans. Fremont may beat Bingham, but I doubt it. I think that Bingham wins, close for a half but Bingham pulls away in the second and wins by 14.
Boy, the playoffs hit and Fremont unveils a super team that nobody was aware of. D like a brick wall and 5 RB's that run roughshod over everybody. Well Bingham has no surprises. their D has spoken for itself all season and will do so again this friday. Palepoi will get big yards in this game. You need more than one stellar LB to bring him down. Little brother Cantwell is big and strong and makes the big catches. #6 has blazing speed. The O-line while missing many starters will dominate the line of scrimmage. The weather more than anything will slow the Miner O down not Fremont

We all can see that there are more Bingham haters on here than Fremont. You've been claiming this and that all week and haven't been right most of the time. We'll see come friday, you'll vanish when those Biiiiingham boys beat your boys down.
Why do the games need to be so early in the afternoon?
Hey I didn't know there were Bingham fans in Layton @jarka-rus! I guess that's what happens when your own high school gets run over by Fremont. Also, I think you forget last year how there was a couple defensive lineman who you couldn't stop, I believe their names are Jake Gallegos and Luke Hollingsworth. This game will be close, there's no doubt about it. However, while Bingham wants to get back to facing Lone Peak, Fremont wants to beat a Bingham team that in my opinion, is about the same as Fremont in skill set and ability. Palepoi will struggle against Fremont's D, giving Fremont a 21-17 victory.
And will fremont fans explain to me what "we don't kick field goals" even means?
So if Fremont was down 3 with 5 seconds to go on the 25 yard line they wouldn't kick a field goal?
And another thing, jarka-rus, some of your claims are more incorrect than the ones you "claim" are incorrect. Go back to cheering for your Lancers cause Biiiingham and Fremont will be a close game.
gotta love the playoffs and this comment section. I would be willing to wager that most on here making comment about certain teams have never seen said team in person. I have never seen Fremont so I have no idea who wins and how close.
The only two teams I've seen in person, that are playing each other, is LP and Northridge. I'm a Ridge fan but from what I've seen it will be a long afternoon for the Knights.
Let's just congratulate all the teams and coaches for getting this far and hope for good games and no injuries.

LOL, cuz Layton is where I grew up. Don't make assumptions it makes you look foolish. Anyway, let me throw some LB names out there for you as well. Jared Afalava, Drake Miller. Each with over 60+ tackles. Taylor Hansen, Paul Langi. And up front Lowell Lotulelei, you may have heard of his brother up at the U. Lowell dominates the line. Will Nasila quick and big coming off the right edge. Durrant Miles off the left edge. Just to name a few, you'll be seeing a lot of them in the backfield friday.
Freemont has been a very good team up north this year and I guess that gives them hope and explains why some fans have fantasies of winning a game against Bingham. We all have our unobtainable dreams but this is real life and Bingham is real and just like Freemunt found out last year and will again this year Bingham is just at a much higher level.
I see a lot of talk/typing about Frement but Ive never seen anything from freemont when they actually played Bingham to change my mind. I must go on facts and not fanticy.
Bingham 35 Feemint 6
