Though I have sympathy for aims of the wall street protestors, I don't see much a path from what they are doing .. to achievement of their aims, I hope I am wrong.

Not only congress was to blame for causing this mess, but wall street was too. They mis-managed their businesses so much that this mortgage mess caused a cascading effect on their businesses. They were too concerned with next quarters bonuses than managing their companies properly and were unable to withstand any storm. Congress did their part by deregulating banks to the extent this was allowed to happen, and they put pressure on the banks to loan to people who weren't qualified.

Big business should not be allowed to influence members of congress to the extent that they are, where members of congress are more concerned with getting campaign contributions than in doing what is right for the country.

What galls me too is republicans fight tooth and nail to ensure these tycons don't get any kind of a tax increase, while insisting that the poor and middle
class endure all the sacrifice that will be needed to pare down our debt.

Two lobbyists who don't like the Occupy Wall Street movement. No surprises there...

It doesn't matter if you agree or not. It's an excersize in democracy.

The first ammendment protects the freedom of religion, speech, and the press, as well as the right to assemble and petition the government.

It was important enough to be the first one right?

I don't care if people want to protest the color of the sky, they have the right and when they stop having the right, we have all lost.

I didn't agree with the t-party, but the left never questioned thier right to protest snd they were never tear gassed.

Actually, the republican legislature redistricted out more republican seats than democrats, so the rest is up to the voters for the 5 leg and 1 senate open seat.

actually, they all are up to the voters, as they decide who is elected not the maps.

From the press, Matheson thinks both the 2nd and 4th congressional districts are no harder to win than the one he is in.

OK, the #utleg didn't pass my favorite congressional map, but we got the best that would pass both houses. The state house map passed 74-1.

Actually, I don't see what the OWS groups have to do with redistricting. Why bring it up Frank?

Remember how the banks were "too big to fail"? They're still too big.

Well Pignanelli you demonstrate why you are a Republican lite. Occupy Wall Street is just getting started. And don't think there aren't a lot of people hacked off with both the major parties right here in Zion.

In western North Dakota they are begging for workers to cope with their explosive growth. They've opened up an oil field and can't get enough workers.

Everywhere they've tried Marxism it has always failed and always will because when people discover that government will take care of them no one wants to work to support the free loaders.
