With an attacking team as Sounders, we have to avoid ball circulation in the midfield, taking care of Rosales and Freddie Montero away from our box. That will demand more work from our center fielders or forwards, I would play Olave,Borchers,Beltran, Johnson, Beckerman, Williams. Morales, Gil, Espindola,Saborio.
If Saborio doesn´t feel he can run and cover the playmakers in the sounders midfield, let´s play Alexander as forward, he did play well with Espindola after Morales injury.
In summary, everybody defending and everybody attacking. We need to win this game, and I hope we learned the way in the last two games, 1-0 is not enough.

And Rosales is iffy. I think that the home crowd comes out buzzing, and Seattle comes in a little confident, and we win 2-0

I like having the first leg at home. RSL has a chance to take a lead and have the crowd behind them.

I don't know if NY even gets by the first game. No Luke Rogers for tonights game and without him in the line-up NY is only 1-4-9

I'd take that...But first things first. The series with Seattle is going to be very rough...RSL is capable and should not be overlooked...

I am hoping for a rematch of the 2008 Western Conference Semi Finals, RSL vs New York, and we can give them some payback for that game.
