Missouri gave Deaton authority to join the SEC (no known invitation yet) or he can sign those television rights and commit to the Big 12. The Big 12 gave Missouri until May to decide so this could go on and on and on.
Interesting that they're trying to throw a bone to Kansas City where there are a large number of MU alumni.
