While the Kansas City Temple construction continues toward completion, across the street at 6751 NE 70th Street; Kansas City, MO, the other much anticipated building, the new Liberty Missouri Stake Center prepares for the open house and dedication November 5th/6th 2011. Members of the church from the Kansas City area, and many other states have been driving by the new temple in a steady stream. Stake and ward meetings in the area are focused on preparing the area membership for temple attendance and support. The temple open house tours will begin when announced by the church, but there is an undercurrent of excitement as members prepare non-member family members and neighbors for their first temple visit.
