    If you don't like the policies, beliefs, or practices of the church you belong to you should find one that fits you and what you believe or start your own. You should not try to change the church. This is aspecially true of the LDS Church because we believe that our prophet receives direction from God. If you try to tell the prophet what Church policies should be you are either saying that you don't believe he is led by God or that you know better than God.

    Catholics believe that the Pope is led by God, so it is the same for them. If you don't like it then leave the church behind and do your own thing.

    @Mc;

    I agree with much of what you wrote, aspecially (sic) the part about moving on to a new church.

    On the other hand, I don't believe that either of the leaders is particularly gifted with a hot-line direct to you-know-who.
