This is Genesis of PAC 12 Utah Football!

Eagle Mountain, UT

Defense is solid. Now, if they had an offense they might actually make it past the NM bowl all the way to Las Vegas.

kudos to the Ute defense, from a Y fan...I am proud of the way U. defense has played to well represent the great state they ....represent. That is also why I am proud of the Cougars when they play well, because they represent the LDS church whom they are priveledged to ...represent.

Nice to see the defense perform well. Hopefully, this can continue as it is the foundation on which Coach Whit hopes to compete in the PAC 12.

Offense is always fun to watch, but a great defense is a thing of beauty.

It's a Whitt team: Tough, hard-playing, defensive oriented.

Refreshing to see someone so talented not full of himself. Great job to the D. We played conservative at best on the anemic O and the D pulled out the win by demolishing the Pitt offense and making them look completely inept. When they don't get overused and tired they are killer.
If we can get more good passing out of Hays with Devonte back, and limit dumb fumbles we will take Cal by storm

Shelby got a helmet sticker from the ESPN Gameday crew. Pretty cool.

South Jordan, UT

Look for Utah to finish strong at 5-1 to end up 8-4 and go to Holiday Bowl.

KamUte- I agree with you, 6-0 would even be possible if we could limit or get rid of the mental errors (dumb penalties) and fumbles.

Let's follow Coach Whit's approach and take it one game at a time.

Game Ball to Shelby, for sure.

Draper, UT

Actually I think I read somewhere that the gameball went to Coleman Peterson. Shelby was great though! And he totally deserved the recognition he got!! He's one cool guy.
