1990 Skyline was ranked #1 and Olympus was ranked #2. It was a great game that came down to the last few minutes. Skyline won the game behind Joey Dupaix and Co. It was still a great game to play in. Glad that it turned out better for these kids.

Holla at ya Oly Titans! Great job Scott, Nate, and co. Y'all are makin us proud to be alumi. That game was great to watch online. Reminded me a lot of the one I played in back in 2003 when we won 30-20. Love that rock. Go get your fingers some green paint boys. BOOM... FACE. Love it when Olympus beats skyline. My hats off to the new coach. Job well done. Go get some State Title now!

What a tremendous job by both teams. It's too bad a team had to come up on the other end. Eagles, don't hang your heads too long, get rady for state!

They would have to go through East and Logan first. Which I think is very unlikely. Both of those teams this year are machines. Look for one of them to take the 4A title this year.

I am predicting East for 4A, and the very obvious choice of Lone Peak for 5A.

Out coached? Out played? What game were you watching... and the officials were much more pro oly last night. And ExTbird Im pretty sure the bracket goes skyline vs sky-view first round then east second round with logan on the opposite side of the bracket. But honestly east is going to get thrown down by logan this week anyways. With skyline losing last night and getting the second seed for playoffs I believe they have an easier playoff road then had they won. Playoff's are definitely a whole nother ball game so it'll be exciting to see how everything turns out! GO EAGLES best of luck, rally back like you do. Brandon Mcbride your a one heck of a football player I haven't seen such a big head of steam from a running back like that in a while.

I can see why oly fans are so excited, due to their lack luster programs over the years and now finally feeling what skyline has felt for most of there existence.

Bummer my Eagles lost to Olympus. Back in the day that was one of the worst things that could happen and thankfully it didnt happen often. That Oly green still makes me cringe.

That is by far the most exciting Oly Skyline game played in recent memory. Scott Porter has been consistent all year. Brandon McBride is a Mack truck with breakaway speed. Oly's receivers made some big time catches. That 99 yard drive in the third after recovering the fumble on the 1 was epic. I was impressed with the Skyline club as well. Their backup QB looked a lot more effective than their starter. Their MLB, FB and WR (#4) played lights out. Both sides played with a lot of spirit and pride. One thing was so blatantly obvious, booster clubs should never be allowed to design a uniform. It would have been nice to see the Eagles in their classic look. Both sides should be proud of their performance last night.

Coach Whitehead is the future of Utah high school football. He coached my first year of little league at Skyline and has climbed his way to the top. Smart man, great guy, and has a great attitude with kids.

Here is to many successful years as a coach.

The "Back up QB" for Skyline should have been the starter all along! That kid was a human highlight film Friday night.I will never understand Skylines thinking??It was obvious to the packed stadium Friday night who should be the QB.A word to my alum PLAY YOUR BEST PLAYERS!!! Everyone else does.

Go Titans! Way to get a win! Skyline played a great game and I expect them to do really well at state along with Olympus!

What a great game! I never thought anything could top the Herriman game but this did it in spades! Both teams played lights out and it was another game where you did not want to see either team lose.

Congrats go to Oly. Bottom line, the Titans were the more disciplined team down the stretch. As in the beginning of the season the Eagles lost the game on mental mistakes and turnovers. Its play off time boys these things need to be fixed and fixed right now! If they're not, it's going to be a very short post season.

Im curious? Could Skyline and Oly meet up again in the playoffs? I would love to see that happen.

Don't hang your heads Eagles you all played a great game on Friday and we are all proud of you. Shake this one off, get to work and go make some noise in the playoffs.

    1-2-3-E-A-G-L-E

    Go Eagles!

@Goldendomer - they are on opposite sides of the brackets. We could see Oly again in the state title (I always heard that you were a little "curious"). Hats off to Oly.
