Give the poor guy a break, he passed from an awful illness and it probably took alot of his focus and energy that healthy people take for granted. Besides, would this author even be bringing this up if Steve Jobs wasnt a known democrat and obama supporter
Whether or not he donated to any charities is entirely his private business. It is not the business of anyone else. I would not want the public to scrutinize what I do with my private life, including my donations to anywhere. I would say, leave the family alone and let them get on with their lives, and their grieving. It is a personal, private thing. What his widow does with the money she gets is HER own business, not ours.
Maybe he was simply following the words in the Bible, and not "letting the left hand know what the right hand (was) doing". Did not Christ admonish us to do our good works in secret? Perhaps this billionaire wanted to do that, too. There may be much about him that only his Father in Heaven knows, and so it should remain.
Give the poor guy and his family a rest! I've hated all the cartoons I've seen since he died. Speculation of how he spent his money is no better!
