Johan Santana pitched the first no-hitter in New York Mets' history, helped by an umpire's missed call and an outstanding catch in left field in an 8-0 victory over St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night.
National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

Just a friendly suggestion to help us out-of-state readers. Can you list the non-Utah colleges that Utah high schoolers attended? For example, I believe Ah-You attended Nebraska? I don't that'll cause too much heartburn. The names aren't going to change that often at all, only what they did on any given week.
So. Cal, Ah-You went to Oklahoma, Stewart Bradley went to Nebraska.
So. Cal, this is a Utah paper. We don't list the high schools of the players if that wasn't in Utah either.
