Tough loss for Utah. Can't wait for Basketball season in the PAC 12.
First I would like to give credit to WA. There were some great hits that caused the turnovers. On Wynn's pick it looked like the receiver and QB were not on the same page. Great effort by the "D" back to make the catch.
Certainly the turnovers were not good, but even more distressing to me was the unsportsmanlike foul that kept a drive going. There is never any reason to have one of those.
Go Utes!
I wonder if those with Ute ticket stubs can get free turnovers at a certain eating establishment.
What goes around comes around.
Poor Utes... Now you see what it's like to turn the ball over. You should have rolled that team. Your defense looked like swiss cheese. Hopefully they turn it around quick or this season could get ugly.
"We say over and over and over, the most important stat in football other than the final score is the turnover margin," Whittingham said. "Five turnovers you can't do that. We're minus-4 against a quality team and that's not going to work"
See BYU v Utah.
Turnovers hurt, but they hurt even more when they take points off the board!! 4 and 6 yard line, to go up 21-7. That completely changes the game. Washington plays differently if they are down 21-7 early in that game. No question about it. Turnovers at critical times changed the game.
