I do feel bad for heaps but clearly he is not doing much. Being inept at running is not helping jake and I truly hope he improves and can contribute. I also am not totally sold on nelson. He had some nice passes and some really lucky ones. I still don't see nelsons running skills saving this team the whole season. Whole team still has a long way to go if we hope to not get embarrassed by tcu. With that, I loved the win. Needed morale boost. I have supported and cheered for the Aggies for years. However I have in recent years realized how bitter Aggies are towards all things Byu. It sort of makes these epic meltdowns against auburn Colorado state and Byu quite comical and satisfying. I love knowing this game is one many Aggies care about more than any other. I love that a lucky win by an admittedly not very good Byu team crushes them so. And its icing on the cake that riley nelson did it. Aggies, your bitterness brings a smile to my face. I love knowing how this outcome is a nightmare come true. I absolutely love it.

Unbelievable, improbable win....glad they pulled JH (anti-gamer) in the second half. Good for former Aggie Riley Nelson (gamer) and his family, but BYU did not deserve to win tonight. And I'm a BYU alum, not a Ute troll. Maybe they should make allowances on hair length for ALL male students at the Y?

And did the special teams stink it up, or what? Kickoff OB, WAY LEFT FG attempt, Falslev's gaffe at the end. Give Johnson a go at punt returns! And props to Eason who was better in coverage/run support at field corner.

But the Aggies exposed BYU....they may be the best team in the State of Utah this year. Keeton is going to be a good one. And again, I hope JH avoids talking to the press this week/remainder of the season. I'm out.

I agree it was a good move to bring in Riley for this game. The difference for the two QB's right now is that Heaps is moving the ball between the 20's and stalling in the red zone. The team is setteling for too many FG's. Heaps and the rest of the team are struggling to execute Doman's new offense. I'm sure it's an equal share of blame between QB, WR, OL and coaching at this point. They're not on the same page.

Nelson came in and moved the team, not necessarily by executing Doman's offense. A lot of what he did last night was scrambling and making something happen when the plays broke down. Very similar to how Doman came in as a back up QB and took the starting job by the way. Unfortunatley for Heaps he tends to throw a pick more often than not when he forces something. It seems that Riley is able to make something happen with his feet and got lucky with McKay grabbing that desperation heave on the final drive. With Jake's luck this year it would have been picked off and returned for a touchdown.

Glad we got the win!

Good game...Great game. I loved watching the Cougars for another of many games since 1957/58 when Carroll Johnston was the handsome quarterback. Yes great game, great memories.

Let's hope that Bronco didn't say anything because it is already obvious who the starter is going to be.

Hey isn't that hair a little long? Shame on you Ryley. I expect to see that Hair high and tight by next game...or else I'm calling the honor code office. Unless, of course, that it is your hair that gives you strength...then let it grow grow grow!!! I think they give Athletes a special consideration for that sort of thing!!!

Honestly, if all of this conference expansion craze weren't going on right now I would have been fine with a BYU loss last night. Mendenhall needs to go. Sorry to say.
