Obama made promises he couldn't deliver. His favorability rating among Blacks has dropped from 83% five months ago to 58% today. Only 26% of Americans approve of his handling of the economy (Fox News poll).

Unless Obama can get things turned around all he can do now is hurt the Democrats in the 2012 elections.

Obama has proven once again that wealth redistribution fails everytime because when half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, we will have massive indebtedness, credit downgrades, high unemployment, low consumer confidence, inflation, stock market crashes, 44 million Americans on food stamps and a failed economy! So what does our "leader" propose? More wealth redistribution and class warfare! What will be the inevitable, inescapable results? More of the above! Our only hope is a change in leadership in the White House!

The President is correct that reality is different than the dream. Just the same, it would have been nice to at least pursue the dream a little instead of immediately upon taking office abondoning it for more and harsher partisanship than was in place before he came to Washington. The deep divide is there and mostly because of the deep divider- Mr. Obama.

Obama to his voting base..."look, I'm not responsible for this mess - trust me on this and vote for me again, we need some more time and more of other peoples money." The sad thing is that there are so many entitlement minded, government dependent people out there that he may well win again.

President Obama's rhectoric has changed somewhat - instead of blaming Pres Bush, it is now poor me. Still, one may sympathize. President Obama did not have the experience, nor the credentials to be president. Senator Reid and the other demos who encouraged/promoted Obama, thought because of his pleasing looks, wonderful smile, and his ability to deliver tele-prompted speeches that he could be packaged and sold to the voters. In ones opinion, they did him and the American public a terrible diservice.

Campaigners speak loudly at rallies. Does this make their views correct?
