Highland hasn't been the same since loosing Fish (Anthony Smithson) and Sione Houma. You can't replace a back field like that. No excuses, good luck to Highland as the move forward.
Uh, Bob Cratchet let's be REAL more like Nate Fakahafua. I was pulling for the Rams in this one. CATS are ready to go 2 for 2 against Highland (last year was no fluke). GO WX!!!
Come on just sayin. He is talking about this year. And those two guys they recently lost are D1 full ride studs. That will hurt any team. Best of luck Highland, and go Cats!
Sione Houma was back at for this game. Fish, however, will be out for the season. While I am usually very tolerant of highschool refs, I have to say that the refs at this game were very biased towards Bountiful. They aren't the reason we lost but it really was very poor. I saw five or six facemask and horse-collars on Bountiful that went down in front of the refs that went uncalled. The Bountiful fans however, were extremely classy and kind after their win. Hats off to the Bountiful fans.
What happened to fish, exactly? And whenever I played at Bountiful I felt a pretty big bias, but I was also their main rival, so that's probably why. Interesting the district let their stud play. Must know something I do not.
Undisclosed knee injury with at least a six week recovery (without the rehab.) Fish is super bummed but is trying to stay positive. Sione's ankle is healed up and he has been working on his physical therapy pretty hard. Glad to see him back. Lets hope that getting Sione back will help get the Rams back on track. Justin Weaver is working on shouldering the pressure of a defending state championship football team with a target on their backs. I can't imagine how hard that would be.
Thanks for the explanation on Houma & Smithson. That is a big blow to the Rams. Nevertheless, the Braves seem to have figured out how to work out the kinks in their team. That was an impressive win.
East will demolish both highland and bountiful
No one needs East fans here, airliner. If I may remind you...Isn't that what you all said last year.
East 0
Bountiful 21
AND let's not forget the beautiful:
East 14
Highland 41
Keep your head down and stay humble about the success or it will turn around and bite you in the butt. Comment on your own stories.
When is the east-highland game? Is it the last game of region? If so, like Wx-bountiful, nothing will be known about region standings till the end of that night! Good stuff!
October 14th. Highland at East. Does region 6 ever have an obvious winner? Best region in 4a.
It was a kood win!
Region title still goes through Bountiful...
I'm going to say that Highland's trophy is a little bigger. You can have Region Champs in football. We'll take our State Titles in Football AND Basketball.
Just putting it out there.
