James is great but his brother not so much. Sick of his rapping sideshow.

All you players just need to stay in shape and hope nba get their act together and move on for new season soon. It was nice to see the game on tv, thanks byutv!

It sounds like the event was a lot of fun. That's what basketball should be. Good job, Jimmer and promoters.

The shooting was not NBAesque but the dunks and alleyoops were outstanding. It was a very enjoyable night. Kenneth Faried has some major hops and will be a player to watch if and when the NBA ever comes back to play. As probably the last time we ever see Jimmer on the court at the Marriott center it was fun to say THANKS on last time. I agree with UgottaloveMaxie, the rap halftime was lame....

It was great to get a feel for these players, and I Isaiah Thomas and Nolan Smith really grew on me. Way too many turn overs, and way too many non-3-point-shooting players lobbing up NBA 3's though. I loved the oops and the good humor Isaiah Thomas brought to the game.

You know the Jimmer is gonna take care of the TJ. Nevermind that the Marriott Center crowd is NOT a rap audience. I'm sure they both got a nice payday.

Thanks to BYUtv we all got to enjoy the game. It felt like an all-star game with all the circus dunks. It was definitely entertaining, especially the dunks in the 4th quarter. Jimmer is a legite player and he proved that again last night. I with he would have invited Kanter and Burcs so we could get a look at the new Jazz rookies.

This really was a outstanding game to watch. Yes, it was not very competitive but I think that's one reason it was so fun. The guys on the court were just happy to be there and play and couldn't help but have a fun time. The guys really put on a show.

Great work Jimmer. We Jimmerfans enjoyed the treat in Utah Valley. Too bad your team come out behind. There will be plenty of time for leading in the future though. We hope for your continued success and we will watch Jimmer play again, soon. Jimmerfans are behind you.

TJ really needs to give up rapping. I have been at several events where he has "performed", they have all been equally horrible. He is just yelling and it is very distorted and really just PAINFUL to listen to. And his little buddy that tries to hype up the crowd has one of the most annoying voices too. I like rap, but not TJ!!

The game was fun! Thanks Jimmer!

Glad to see the players taking the initiative and creating some money for themselves. This to me would have been better than an NBA game. Almost old-school like, going back to the pre-NBA days, with players drifting around, playing for less than the current multi-million dollar contracts. Wouldn't minde a bit if the NBA crumbled as long as something better took its place.

This game was on byutv? I can't believe that I missed it! I wanted to go so bad but couldn't make it. But anyways I heard that this game was a lot of fun and a great game to watch. Glad to hear that the players are still in tip top shape and still doing something during the lockout.

I'm sooooooooooo sick of Jimmermania.

But I'm not surprised 11,000+ showed up to watch. After all, what else do BYU fans have to cheer for these days?

This article doesn't do that game justice. This was an NBA style game, and everyone was shooting from the NBA 3. The players didn't take it seriously, and lots of shots were missed due to players trying to get fancy and put on a show. The ones that did work were amazing. The author failed to mention the windmill dunk, as well as the high bounce dunk, and the double-backboard dunk where 3 players touched the ball. It was so exciting to watch. I may watch it again in the near future just due to the entertainment factor.

regis, if your team had a stud like Jimmer, you'd never get sick of it. We are all soooooooooooooooo sick of haters like you though. Get over your dirty hate.

Regis-I am definitely no BYU fan. But I sure am a fan of fantastic basketball. And Jimmer has proven over and over again he can deliver some fantastic basketball. Let a community be excited over a hopefully budding star! Always fun to have a connection on the big stage from little ol' Utah!

Regis:

If you got soooooooooooooo much to cheer for, what are you doing on this thread?

Get back to us when 11,000 + show up to the HC.

I don't deny Fredette was a great college basketball talent. We'll see how he makes out in the NBA, assuming that league ever gets back on track.

I'm still sick of hearing about him.
