Just another non aq practice. If Byu wins I wont post on Byu articles for a month. I will post all month. Utah 31 Byu 17.
tough to call.
Offense - both have struggled so far. Its amazing that Wynn has performed better than Heaps so far. The outcome will likely depend on which QB plays better.
Defense - a strong suit for both teams right now. Hopefully the D plays well and we still get some points on the board.
I think Utah has shown its the better team at the moment, but we have only played two games. It should be another thriller.
Chris B:
We're gonna miss you more than any words can express.
I look for the offense to finally come together and the defense to continue to play aggressive. Utah will play well, but will come up short. BYU 42 Utah 28.
I look for a great offensive effort by both teams. BYU42-Utah32.
BYU 34
Utah 14
Hoping BYU wins so when Utah State wins again this year there will be no arguments as to who the best team in Utah this year.
The only bad thing about this game being played this early is that both teams won't suffer a loss! Two losses this early in the season spells complete mediocrisy for one of the magnificents. Keep hoping Y-niner & Ewetie fans & SLC media for the same dreams that are in rainbows, but reality says your disappointments are only beginning.

Chris B. promised the same thing last year after Utah lost to Boise and did not keep his promise. At least his predictions are usually wrong. 31 against BYU's defense? Not today!
Should be a good battle, but in the end BYU has more guns 24-13.
I just don't see a close game this year. The reason the game was close last year was because Wynn was playing with a throwing shoulder that needed surgery, that's not the case this year. I just don't see how byu's dbs are going to be able to cover Utah's receivers.
I think Heaps is overrated, byu doesn't have any good RB's and their defense has yet to face a QB who can throw. On the other hand Wynn was decent against the best defense he'll face all year, he has yet to commit a turnover, and Utah's defense is way better than anything byu has seen. Heaps will throw at least one int and probably 2.
Utah 28 byu 13
I'm afraid that Wynn and his bum shoulder will be Utah's undoing. BYU's offense is due for a breakout game and I don't see the Utes being to hang with them.

Some predictions that will definitely come true: 1) Utah fans will be grateful for BYU because BYU landed the ESPN contract; 2) Utah fans will be grateful for BYU because BYU landed the possibility for Ute fans to watch the replay on BYUtv; 3) BYU fans will be excited to see the Cougars on an ESPN network likely eight more times this season; and 4) Utah fans will be bummed they will not see the Utes on ESPN again until they participate in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Wynn is throwing wounded ducks, sidearm, with that surgically repaired throwing shoulder -- you need to wake up and smell the coffee bro'.

My little brother was up a little too late last night and had some keyboard issues. What he really meant to type was

Both offenses are not executing well. Both defenses look solid. This will not be a high scoring game. But the Ute defense is not as good as the Texas D was. Texas is a legit team and will likely go 9-3. BYU will win 24 to 10.
Utah has not played anyone of significance yet. USC is not a Top 25 team. The strength of USC is still suspect after barely beating Minnesota who got whipped by New Mexice State. If NM State can beat Minnesota by more than USC did, and USC beat Utah - that would mean that NM State is better than U.
To Chris B, I don't think anyone actually really cares if you post or not. You make it sound like what you have to say is actually important or something. Look at what I found. It's a little known story about what happened to the Utes yesterday during their practice but I believe it's very relevant to the game today. Check it out:
BREAKING NEWS: UTES football practice was delayed nearly 2 hours yesterday after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Kyle immediately suspended practice while police were called to investigate. After a complete analysis experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after a special agent decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.
Re: bluecoug89
Remind me again which team only has 2 offensive touchdowns this year so far.
@bluecoug89 - amen bro.
Re: Uncle Rico
Remind me again who got served a dose of their own medicine last week with a blocked field goal and hey, it even got ran in for a touchdown.
