Maybe Heaps should think about another type of "mission". Good game. Even the Cougar fans should admit that the better team won.

What can you say... One team got all the exposure and the other one just got exposed. After all,

    @Chris B

You missed it big time.... 54- 10

All that bYu talk about da Utes being bottom of the cellar in the Pac 12...

I'd rather be at the bottom in Pac 12 than bottom of the cellar in nothing.
    Go Utes

That INDEPENDENT thing is turning out nicely for BYU!!! One thing is for certain, the MWC isn't missing such poor performance!!

Best defense BYU has faced all year.....

21 to 9 for Utah, BYU will score 3 field goals.

ChrisB with you record I would plan on sitting home on your thumbs for a month. I am certainly praying for that blessing.

Right now both teams are nothing to write home about.

I think Dick's predicted score is probably spot on - we just don't which team will have the higher total. Any scores in the 20s or more would indicate defensive breakdowns, because at this time neither team has shown the ability to score in bunches.

"Offensive line play will determine who runs the ball and who cannot." -- DH

    So true...

Utah was horrible in the first half @USC, a little better the second half. They also got away from the down the stretch.

BYU was horrible both games. They avg 2.9 per carry against Ole Miss while Southern Illinois 5.9 and against Texas 1.9 per carry while Rice had 4.3.

    The better running back White.

BYU has the edge at home but if BYU can't run then Heaps has to score more then ONE TD in this game for the first time against a 4+ win team.

    Go UTES!!

Adding to the otherwise overall excitement of this "game day" (between BYU and Utah) is the increased and heightened incentive of not having to hear your ridiculous comments and predictions for an entire month. Boy, how another Cougar Win (today) will be cherished!

The sad thing is that some of the Utah fans may be (silently) favoring a BYU win too, exactly for the same reason, because of your promise.

Now, you wouldn't be just saying these things to get our hopes up, would you? You are really serious about what you have promised, aren't you? Because, if not, this would be a really sick joke! One that will certainly drive away many visitors to this site if it is a joke.

By the way, who will you be bugging for the next 30 days. Poor souls.

    Go Cougars!!

O line play will be important, but I see the most important matchup being Utah's WRs vs byu's DBs. It's the only position battle were one team clearly has an advantage over the other.

byu fans like to think that Wynn is horrible, but they know that Wynn will easily be the best QB they have faced this year and if those WRs are getting separation it could be a long night for the cougars.

Interesting how many times Utah has been favored due to their defense and in the end they lose because their defense gives up a fluke, or lucky, or whatever play to BYU. Staley to the right, Hall to George, Beck to Harline, Hall to Collie, Doman up the middle, etc.

With rare exception this game goes down to the last few plays as Dick mentioned. Dick is right. The O-lines will have a huge part to play in the outcome.

Arrogance in predicting a decisive win shows foolishness because no one can predict this game. At best the only logical prediction is the home team by one score.

Chances are... Heaps will have a better day than Wynn. Wynn's O-line has been a problem more than Heaps' line. Probably one score difference...a big kick by Sorenson.

BYU 20-17 on the final play from the 40. Excruciating fun.

"If byu wins I wont post on a byu article for a month.

    I'll be posting all month."

Chris B, you have two contradictory statements. So which one is it? Will you be posting all month, or are you going to stick with the first statement?

    bcs vs non-aq

athletes vs. kids who play sports

program with quests vs program that talks about quests

    Utah 31
    byu 17

If byu wins I wont post on a byu article for a month.

    I'll be posting all month.
