I haven't mentioned it to our friend but if you Google the 'real clear politics' web site you'll get a clearer idea of just how much trouble Obama is in. His current strategy has his ship headed towards the rocks.

    Rifleman,
you are correct, bush's approval ratings won't save BO, but they help pagan feel better.

    Read and weep.
"Most troubling for Obama is his poor performance among independents, many of whom supported him three years ago. Sixty-three percent of unaligned voters disapproved of the way Obama is handling his duties while only 29 percent approved." - Quinnipiac University Poll

Translation: Bush's final approval rating isn't going to save Obama in 2012. A novice Republican with only $200,00 beat a veteran Democrat who spent $500,000 and still couldn't pull off a victory. It was an embarrassing referendum loss for Obama.

    ONLY 54%? I'm surprised it's not more

A faithful few will try to spin Obama's incompetence by blaming everything on Reagan and Bush. The truth is that our bus driver is lost in the fog and insists that the Republicans ride in back.

Bob Turner's unlikely Republican victory in New York's 9th Congressional District is hard to ignore.
