As much as you may hate to admit it Bob Turner just won a House Seat in a district that hasn't elected a Republican in the last 91 years. The voters in that district wanted to send Obama a message and they have a 3 to 1 ratio of registered Democratic voters.

Based on Obama's history of failures I hope the Republicans examine his proposals with a microscope. Meantime the clock is ticking and the unemployment rate remained steady at 9.1% in August. Totally unacceptable!!

"Of course the President has the well being of the country in mind"-Pagan

Are you serious? You must be kidding.

That's the one sentence you want to use to show he cares about the country-the one where he admits it is all about HIM!

No. credibility.

Maybe you need to go do a search and check out all the legislation the Democrats have kept off the floor, Pagan.

Passed by the House but stuck in the Senate:
The Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act-passed
The Energy Tax Prevention Act
Disapproval of FCC's Net Neutrality Regulations
The Clean Water Cooperative Federalism Act
Consumer Financial Protection & Soundness Improvement Act
Restarting American Offshore Leasing Now Act
Putting the Gulf of Mexico Back to Work Act
Reversing President Obamas Offshore Moratorium Act
The Jobs and Energy Permitting Act of 2011
North American-Made Energy Security Act

--These would all be parts of the House Republican Plan for America's Job Creators, introduced May 26, 2011.

Could you please direct me to the Democrat's job's plan in writing prior to this week?

There have been some big changes in Washington since since Kathy Hochul won her House seat in New York.

In his NY House District 9 upset victory Bob Turner credits part of the reason for his upset victory to his support for traditional marriages. His opponent, Democrat David Weprin, was on the wrong side of the issue and the voters punished him for it.
