Looks like the Republicans are being serious about considering the President's Proposals. Too bad the President chose to make he center piece of his strategy for funding the new jobs act raiding soc. sec. via not collecting the necessary monies to keep the fund solvent. First they spend the money and issue bogus IOU's, now they just don't collect the money and call it a stimulus for job creation. All at the expense of the early disabled and poor elderly. Then the President adds insult to his injury by demogueing anyone that suggest any reform to the program. Shameless.
The republicans are also excited about the trade deals that will allow US business to export more jobs to countries where they don't have to pay a living wage. Not sure how that helps the American economy other than the bottom line for big business.
