Nick missed a game (ankle roll)...I believe it was Roy? But that right there is 60-80 plays and possibly 20 plus carries. Fremont offense has become very easy to scout and thus counter. Wakara...yes Molisi was good but film analysis shows that it was the outstanding fake hand-offs executed by Cook and his RB's that confounded the Fremont DL. Good game and good luck to you East fans!

Fremont boys played well. Offensive game plan is causing problems of predictability. East played very good smash-mouth football and ate the clock up, Fremont answered with a very incoherent offensive strategy. Fremont's second play from scrimmage was a sweet pass to a highly under utilized "part-time" TE and probably one of the best in the state #31. Nick will be more of a threat with a more balanced north-south offense. Had Fremont controlled more of the clock on offense, the defense would not have had to endure the 3rd period beating. East High played very well and executed some tremendous fake hand-offs that confounded the Fremont DL...good football. Fremont...time to dominate.

Vigil wasn't even the best back playing. Molisi is legit.

Wow! I remember games last year where Vigil had close to 40 carries a game! He only has 43 carries this season and less than 150 yards of total rushing. What's so different this year from last year? Did Fremont think that it was going to be a cake walk? Wake up boys! Play Fremont football!

Too bad that the refs had to ruin this game for Fremont. They were destroying East from the start of the game until the refs started giving East first downs when they would get stuffed for losses on 4th down. High school football in Utah used to be exciting because it was played fairly. Now it is all just as big of a sham as college and NFL football. Thanks UHSAA for making this possible.
