I hope the Aggies can look as sharp as they did at Auburn (or at least as they
did for 3.5 quarters) for the rest of the season. It could be a great season if
they keep playing like that. I am still keeping the faith that they will go
bowling this year. Keep your head up guys, there are a lot more games left. They
have the ability to beat a lot of teams.
It was an awesome performance against Auburn, USU. Do more of that !
I watched this game in The Grove at Ole Miss. The Ole Miss fans had two looks
on their faces - the first was excitement to see one of their Arch Enemies
losing - The other was concern that this Utah State team had a relation to the
BYU team they were about to play. I am not a Utah State fan but I
can tell you this - they gave all of us great pride that day as they battled
against tremendous odds and almost pulled off one of the great wins in their
history. I was proud in the moment to share the State of Utah with
you and was sad at your loss. The ball bounced funny that day and gave a win to
Auburn. The "W" may have gone to the Alabama school but Respect went
to the School from Logan. As for this Cougar fan, I for one was
proud of your efforts, your poise and your guts. Thank you Aggies for an
exceptional game. Good luck in all your games this season (except the one of
Fill Romney Stadium! I suffered through the heartbreak in person at Auburn and
will be there at every home game to support our Aggies at Romney Stadium.
Calling all Aggies! Get to the home opener. Buy season tickets. We need more
alumni support. Go Aggies. Call 888-USTATE1 for tickets. If you live between
Ogden and Prove especially, join us in the stadium. I live in Salt Lake and
will be there with two of my kids.
I second what GoAgs said! Fill Romney!! Jump on the bandwagon now! It's gonna
be a fun ride!!
awe fuey...typical aggies...the best at finding ways to lose. hahaha
Good luck Aggies.I sent Randy Spetman an email years ago about ideas
for USU. One of them was to schedule Weber State and Idaho State at home on
alternate years, to both help with attendance with the local opponent and to
help USU get a win. He wrote back, thanking me for the ideas and specifically
mentioned the Weber State/Idaho State idea as one he intended to pursue. And
then he went to Florida State. I am glad that USU has adopted this philosophy
and that it includes Southern Utah as well. I hope this scheduling of a local
FCS team at home each year pays dividends for USU.
