I never met him... but I miss Charlie Ben.
I like the monster metaphor. I think it worth adding that we all have numerous monsters, we don't all have the same collection of monsters, some are more easily controlled than others, and the monsters that are hard for me to control may be easy for someone else. Our control is not always consistent, but we eventually must learn to control them all until the day comes that all of our own monsters have been vanquished and we no longer need to control them because they are no longer there.
sorry---only one monster with many avenues to get control---we have to block all the avenues, and close up all the chinks so new avenues aren't created---
Wow! Wish my kids could go back to being 5 again so I could give them this! Think I'll post it on Facebook anyway; maybe it's not to late :-)
