You do like to pick some of the worst photos of Rep. Chaffetz. You do actually have better ones?

At the Utah Republican Central Committee meeting this weekend, it was also the newer more Tea Party friendly members that kept the peace when a few "more seasoned" members still wanted a fight with a few of the new gop leaders. The new party leaders had decided to work together. I am glad the meeting went well.

You are also missing what Paul Rolly said at the start of the session this year. Apr 08 2011:

"The freshman class already had demonstrated an independent nature early in the session when many of the newcomers voted against a bill that would have required hotel and motel owners to allow their guests to bring guns into their rooms. ... Most of the freshmen, conservatives in their own right, didnt see the need.

Their defeat of that bill signaled a new mind-set in the House conservative Republicans who were more interested in traditional conservative principles like small government, low taxes and balanced budgets than seeing how many guns and RV trails you can display ...."

Sen. Hatch is still likely going, going...

Watch Huntsman become the likely challenger to Hatch for his senate seat.

Wow, Chaffetz photo reminds me of the Newsweek photo of Bachmann.

Was he checking the lighting also?

Isn't Lavar Webb being a little disingenuous about the Tea Party? It hardly arose spontaneously. It's better characterized as an astroturf enterprise that serves the interests of the Koch brothers, Rupert Murdock and clients.

Yes that is a wild shot of Jason. The word is out on him as well as Bachmann. They are both scary.

It's too bad, Jason dropped out. We need leadership not longevity. Sen. Hatch has proven his tenure is partially responsible for the mess we're in now. Where has he demonstrated the leadership to change our current situation? If we accept his "declared war" on delegates that don't support him, then where is our democracy? This isn't Mexico, then maybe he has proven, it is!
We're in deep trouble. We need term limits.
