Man O man? How about the ridiculous secondary as the #1 priority?........they are gonna get torched! BYU will never learn........passing the ball ALL the time doesn't mean anything. Winning football is all about running the ball and DEFENSE. That is exactly why BYU is last century's news.

Ok BYU fans, resist feeding the trolls, focus on the article.

I have all the confidence in the world in Coach Reynolds. We have a very talented group of tight ends and to see Austin Holt step it up is a very good thing and the others will follow.

I think top to bottom this 2011 team is deep, talented, young and committed. I for one am happy to see this loooong summer come to an end.

Go Cougs!!!!

Repeating your lame comments every day doesn't make them true.

Keep dreaming. it will be fun to watch you squirm as BYU shines.

Oh, and by the way....

Winning football is about scoring more points than your opponents. Look it up in the rule book, it's there...

The team with the most points wins. Not the team who runs the ball most or has the best defense.

Do you actually root for a team? Or just root against BYU?

If the BYU team went to a water resort in Provo, isn't that a NCAA violation unless everyone paid their own entrance price?

@Star,

Good teams shut down BYU nearly every game in recent years. Although BYU put up some points against "so-so" teams in a couple LV Bowls. BYU has scored 4 or more TDs against the Utes only twice in the last 10 years for example. And, the last 3 years against TCU BYU has only scored a grand total of 17 points in 3 games while TCU racked up 101. DEFENSE wins........that is why BYU stands no chance of ever being relevant again......can't recruit the types of players at key positions.

I root for Utah, Hawaii, any BYU opponent in any sport, love and primarily watch SEC football, ACC basketball and cheer for Duke University. Used to like Utah basketball when Rick Majerus was the coach.

As far as your "shine" claim.........PROVE IT! Because, rabid BYU chirping "glory" has been tiring to say the least. Really old actually.......sorta like that BOGUS NC in 1984.........some 27 years ago........that old.
