All I have heard out of BYU's fall camp is rainbows and butterflies, not to mention the NC hot air. Sounds like the "Quest" part 2. Where do I get my t-shirt?

Funny because although the press has been reporting how well BYU is doing in camp,

ute trolls are the only ones inserting NC talk a quest in the way you are insinuating right now.

Getting excited about field goal kicking is like claiming glory for going to the Vegas Bowl several times in a row as other teams in the region such as Boise ST and the U go to multiple BCS games.

I agree with you Striker. Sorensen could be a game changer with long fg's and regular touchbacks. Good to see some fire in the team. Hopefully they can focus their emotion in getting ready for Ole Miss.

How did Utah do in their last Las Vegas Bowl? Oh that's right, they always play in and dominate BCS bowls.

I'm wondering if there is somewhere in the country that a coach says "Yeah, I'm pessimistic about this team. I think things are finally starting to fall apart. The offense has little to improve, the defenence is starting to be incohesive as a unit, and the kicking game has been sporadic. I think, with time, we'll be a pretty mediocre football team."

Of course Bronco and Whit are optimistic. I'm guessing the coach for Idaho State is too.

Utah trolls I would be more worried about your offensive line than I would about a BYU kicker. Life will not be as easy as a weak schedule (like Utah, Boise State, and Hawaii have had) to get back to a BCS bowl and next year USC will be back to dominate the South.

J3HS your comments show you lack considerable about the importance of a great kicker and one who can nail 57 yard field goals. You comments are meant to be spiteful. I guess you did not appreciate Louie Zakoda from a few year ago. How many games did he help you win in your BCS runs. Please go read your Ute stories and make such comments there.

As Ute fans may recall from 2008 when King Louie was winning close games against TCU and OSU, having a dependable field-goal kicker on the team is priceless. So don't knock Y fans' excitement at Sorenson, who has extraordinary range (63-yarder in high school).

I sure wish the Utes had better prospects this year. Then their fans might have better things to do than spout off on BYU stories.

Didn't Louie Sakoda win a heisman oh wait he didn't, but he was the best player on that team, and Ute fans wanted him to win a heisman.
